I just want to let everybody here know this. I got the same call last week from brad on my phone he left me a message i read all your post. But i called then and paid the $199. And in less than a week i want everybody to know my car was sold at the exact price i wanted and they added the 199 to the selling price so i lost nothing. I got exactly what i wanted for my car and was never more happy! So for all you people who want to make stuff up you are all wrong! This is a great company and i would refer anyone i know to them

Wow, 2 messages within a few minutes of each other trying to tell us what a wonderful company this is. VERY CONVINCING LOL!!

Now if they sold your cars like you claim, why in the hell are you looking up their phone number on here? Who are you fooling -- not anyone who reads this site.

Hey Paul, is business getting that bad? Hope so, between the illegal phone calls and the phony tax status, we're guessing you won't even be in business much longer. Well, we can only hope! But making such obvious fake posts on here won't prolong the life of your SCAM.

It depends ... they are, at least on paper, at least for the time being. Nevertheless they still violate FCC rules and laws regarding illegal cell phone calls and deliberately abandoning calls (if a human instead of a machine answers), not to mention systematically violating the terms of service of the sources they use such as CL to harvest phone numbers. Basically, they are crooks that don't pay attention to the laws that currently apply to them anyway, so what difference would new laws make.

As for their 501(3)c status, that may be under investigation as we speak. Current IRS provisions that allow for ample rewards for those who turn in crooks like Longwood, who are leeching off all the US taxpayers, can work wonders!

"Brad" has called me twice now about the vehicle I had listed.  However, not only did I not have a vehicle listed for sale, the ad for the item I had listed in the newspaper has been deleted for 2 days now.  It really upsets me that people want to use up my phone time for their own greedy use.  BEWARE - DO NOT ANSWER if any calls come thru to you that either do not give a phone number or say "Private Number".  Legitimate callers will allow their phone number to come thru on your caller ID.  Fortunately for me, I did not talk to Brad and let his call go to voice mail.  How RUDE of anyone to waste my time.  If the FCC can stop him or any other callers, I say GO FOR IT!!!!!

Call the 866-326-0950 number and tell them you are going to report them to the FCC.  They will put you on a Do Not Call List - or so they say. It is worth a try to get them to stop calling.  If they do not stop calling,
go ahead and report them.

Yes just received a call from Robert of Longwood Inc. 501C company trying to sell my vehicle for me. Scam

Robert called for the second time..slightly exasperated.  I am in Vancouver BC and have a truck for sale on Craig's List.  Good thing this blog returns high in a Google search..not like I was planning to call but for those who are more naive or desperate hopefully this stops one or two.

Yeah Brad has called twice, and desperately wants to sell my car! I wasn't sure but thanx to you all I won't be ripped off by this scam artist.

robert curtain called me today. glad to know that i'm not the only one that thought it was a scam. has anyone ever had any dealings with these people so the atty. gen. can do something about this. BY THE WAY ANYBODY NEED A GOOD BRONCO WITH ALLHIGHWAY MILES!!!:o

Yup you're the one ... the one who wrote that propaganda for the company that employs you, Paul. Funny how all big search hits on Longwood lead to various complaint sites.

If you got a call in response to an ad that said you weren't interested in getting any other business offers, COMPLAIN! If these crooks called you cell phone, COMPLAIN -- unless they had your prior permission that call was ILLEGAL! If you've been getting a lot of hang up calls and then you finally get a VM from "Brad" or some other robot, COMPLAIN -- this is Longwood, they abandon calls illegally if a person answers, their robot only talks to voice mail.  SO before you complain, be informed about the illegal tactics these crooks use, THEN COMPLAIN LIKE HELL!

I just got an email from John Moore about sending me a check and of course Brad called as well!

Got a call message from "Robert" from "unknown number" but said to call back on 866-326-0949... he said that Longwood Inc is a 501c3 ...cheerful voice...but he farmed my ad from Craigslist that I placed about ten hours ago.....I'm not happy with this kind of scam....thanks to posts here...I'm just reporting and deleting.

I recieved a message from "Brad" today.  I called back and talked to Annie.  I have my car listed on Craig's List only, so this is where they got my number.  The thing I find most interesting is if I am selling my car, wouldn't you assume I am going to buy another one.  So, wouldn't you want to also sell me a car.  Where are the buyers coming from?  I took down her information and asked if she minded if I did some research on her company.  She didn't seem to have a problem letting me do some research.  Annie even told me to go the BBB.  I will not be calling her back anytime soon.
