jacob called me. i didnt call back yet.i guess it was fishy that he didnt say the model of my car only my "vehicle" i was really excited thinking my car was going to be sold so i could pay for my college courses and summer dance intensive. what a let down but really glad i found this site first. has anyone actually done it and sold their car?

I did a little investigating with direct access to the state's business database and I have a physical business address, executives' names and their addresses:

Think these guys are probably getting your # from autotrader.com.  I listed my car on craigslist with no phone number, and on autotrader with a phone number, so that sort of narrows it down.

Received call today from "Alan" stated he has been trying to call me for a few days, this is a lie, I have caller ID, no calls missed, etc.  Also I just listed my car on Autotrader two days ago and on Vehix.com yesterday.  I called the number and was answered as "Auto Marketing Systems", all employees were busy and someone come on when available, then a message started playing about their service, I hung up then.

just wanted to say i have an engine on craiglist and had "brad" call me from longwood inc saying the same thing about selling my car for me...what car??? this is definetly a SCAM....thanks

Yep, another one here. Jacob Reed just left me a message. God bless Google and all these websites that help protect people!

Recieved a call from Jacob Reed and never posted my phone number and he has called twice claiming he has people in my area that want to buy my car even though I'm selling a trailer. It sounds like a hoax and there is no website I could find. Dont trust them.

These people will contact you when you list a vehicle for sale on Craigslist. They are based in Nova Scotia and want $199 of your hard earned money. They won't sell your car and will not return your money back. No court can reach them as they are in Nova Scotia.

DO NOT CALL THE 902 NUMBER IT IS INTERNATIONAL AND YOU WILL BE BILLED.  CALL THE TOLL FREE LINE REPEATEDLY AND HANG UP WHEN A PERSON ANSWERS.  THEY WILL BE STUCK WITH THE BILL!  FEEL FREE TO EMAIL THEM ALL YOU WANT AS WELL.  SEND THEM SPAM.

i had a dirt bike on craigslist and he call me for a car and if your a real business you wouldent have on guy calling evrybody

I got the call from Jacob from 866 326 0950 also.  
I had post on craigslist for item but not a car.
He said on message he could sell my vehicle.

Can't believe these people get away with this crap!  It charges on my cell phone. I am never putting a phone number again on a craigslist item.

You are good like that, props to ya, My elderly brother just got hit by these guys and I am woried about this--I'M calling him now.

I recently listed my car for sale, and also got a message from Brad at longwood inc, saying that for a small fee he could guarantee he could hook me up with a buyer for my car, which he hints to as being a desireable model.....funny thing is, he never mentions what model of car i have for sale or any other specific detail about my listing... in fact when i listen to the message a couple of times, it sounds almost like the message is pre recorded... the whole thing seems to good to be true.

I got a call from this Jacob Reed guy and I don't even own a car! What a scam. He tries to make himself sound so genuine too.

Jacob Reed left me a message and i accidently deleted it, a week later he left a second one, i decided to look him up and saw all this. It's a real shame though, im trying to sell my car and 50% of the potential buyers are scammers.

received two calls from Jacob Reed. Did NOT return the call either time.  He used the number of 1-866-326-0950.  I have also listed my car on Craigs List. Buyer beware.

Come on, people... ONLY 16 complaints in 36 months?  I'll bet Wal-Mart gets that many complaints in less than an hour.
