I keep getting calls from a man named James Jones with Kingman and Cole Law Firm stating that I owe an ungodly amount of money to a credit card. He is also calling my father (who is ill), my wifes work place and my work. He threatings to take me to court and have me locked up.

See my message in this thread from March 13 for information on reporting these crooks to law enforcement and suing them. Good luck.

received a phone call today while at the doctors office with my child that has alot of medical problems, person that called was a detective Tarren Teno from kinsman & Cole said regarding an account with jcpenney one that i know i paid off 2 years ago, I asked him what it was about, he said hold and then someone else got on the phone said he worked with attorney Tarren Teno, said he had gone into a meeting with attorneys that came in from texas and i asked well were are you he said new york, i asked what it was regarding he said they were going to freeze my accounts,and send authorities to my house to collect i asked how much was the balance firt said $1300.00 then said plus attorney fees that i was looking at $4500 almost $5000. i asked him to mail me paper work regarding this he got rude and stared calling me names. i tried telling him that this i had paid off 2 years ago and he just didn't care, he just wanted me to give him a post dated check. ?????????????????

Report them to your Attorney General for threatening you
with Jail, then you will not owe them anything at all!

I've received multiple phone messages from Kingman,Cole and Associates in which they claim to have been retained by "the state" and that they are conducting a "court-ordered investigation" and that I need to call them back within 24 hours to avoid "prosecution".

Do not fall for this.. Ignore them change your number if they do get you on the phone tell them to mail you what ever and they will not do it because they are full of [***]... please do not fall for it I call everyone having to do with identy and put them all on alert this weekend I will work on letters to send and post what I do so others can do it too.  Lets get these scumbags put in jail!

this company called me stating that i owed over 5500 dollars in a credit card i never had, they told me i was going to jail and having my kids taken away from me if i didnt pay, i have been though a lot of stuff with my ex husband, so i am scared to death   they refused to send me any paper work for this and said i was going to jail they didnt want to hear anything i had to say about this, instead they kept threanting me about this, i dont know what to do

These People have been calling me everyday saying I am going to be sued and I have an appointed Court date and my bank accounts will be frozen and take any property that I have . If I remember . the account they are talking about was around $ 300.00 ( has already been charged off ) Kingsman and Cole are saying that I owed $ 7000.00 if it went to Court. I decided to take my chances in Court. they have not sent me anything in the Mail saying what the debt is . so until I get something in writing , I am not worried by these Crooks. according to them, the lady told me that I will get a Summons by Sheriff or Certified Mail . the Sheriff is right but by Certified mail!!!!!!! so I am more than sure these People are a Third Party Debt Collecting Agency that buys your old debt for Pennies on a Dollar . they seem like a Scam Outfit to me trying to scare the Hell out of you. I will report back if any Action takes place.

Rather than sitting back and waiting to see if these crooks try to steal your money again, you may want to report them to federal and state law enforcement. See my message above from April 27 for information on reporting these grifters to law enforcement.

I am retired and on a fixed income, also have cancer and do not need the harrassment. Marshall&Ziolkowski were still in business as of 04/08/08. Name change ??? posiable. Very fast since I've been receiving calls from Kingman and Cole since the first part of April, 2008. My attorney refers to this type of collection agency as scumballs.

Kingman Cole and Associates are a Law firm the people who are rude are working on commission.  They are rude and unprofessional but they can sue you and have sued most of their accounts.  Before you people report them as a scam you should be educated.  Yes they are rude but they sue hundreds of accounts a year.  Make sure its in the stats and verified its your debt but not paying could cost you a civil judgement

Whether or not Kingman Cole is real law firm that actually sues people is beside the point. Anyone, not just attorneys, can file lawsuits....so that's not a point that impresses. Just because this collection of thugs may be a real law firm doesn't automatically mean their practices are legitimate or legal. Lots and lots of legitimate businesses engage in illegal behavior everyday, and many are fined, sued and/or prosecuted for it. But being someone who is probably affiliated with the Kingman Cole/Marshall Ziolkowski, I'll bet you already knew that.

If KingmanColeMarshallZiolkowski's business practices were on the up and up, there would be no need for you to troll message forums in a pathetic attempt to defend them and to scare and insult consumers.

For the record, Kingman Cole and Associates are NOT attornies...they do not sue anyone, in fact they end up getting sued.  I am sure that they will change names again...and again...and again.

They are punks.  I keep calling there telling them that I am still waiting to be sued.  I have been waiting here for the process server to come, but yet they never do seem to come.
