- Mikey replies to rm| 1 replyHey RM...
Now it seems that KC are pretending to be movie producers. You wrote "...called was a detective Tarren Teno from kinsman & Cole..." Tarren Teno...like Quinton Tarintino from Kill Bill fame?
Cute name though.
What is fun to do is to call them and make fun of them for having to work on nights and weekends. Just harrass the living hell out of them. I know it is childish but it is fun as hell too.
Also try usinga soundboard like on www.ebaumsworld.com then click on sound boards. Then listen to some of the crank calls they did. I like the Arnold ones and Jack Nicholson. Basically you click on different phrases and play them over the phone. If you do it right it sounds like you are a movie character having a conversation with them. - ICEMAN| 1 replyWas called by these jerks at kingman & cole. Went and done some research and found this link to crap no debt collector can engage in according to the federal government. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm
Yall read this before talking to these morons, and anyone who says these tatics are legal either works for their brand of scum or can't read the law.- Caller: Kingman & Cole
- Call type: Debt collector
- db replies to Lou Fernandez| 3 repliesFunny thing -- I just got a call from these A**HOLES today... This jerk left a threatening messaging saying the call was regarding a pending lawsuit and either myself of my attorney are strongly encouraged to return the call... When I called back this jerk said it was about a pending lawsuit from a 6 year old credit card debt. When I questioned his statement of the "pending lawsuit" he said he'll notify the legal team of my refusal to pay so they can move forward with the lawsuit -- Then he hung up on me.. Typical collector. I wasted about 6 years of my life in collections and I hate everything about them which is why I am no longer a collector. I know all the tricks of the trade and just laughed when he tried to use them on me which is why he hung up in a hurry. Since I called him out and proved he is illegally implying/threatening a lawsuit I called back to get their address. I'm going to sue them. I have his voice mail saved and everytime I called back to get their address they refused to give it to me and hung up on me. This when on for about half a dozen calls until someone claiming to be the "director of operations" answered. He too refused the address and called me "ignorant". Sad life they live. How pathetic.

- HOLLOW replies to Missy| 1 replyI find ur post ridiculous did u ever think about paying ur bill so u would not receive these calls start paying ur bills and stop being a professional debtor have some class deadbeat
- joe smith replies to none| 3 repliesno matter what they say or what they do if you paid your bills you wouldn't have to deal with any of this
- db replies to HOLLOWIf you knew the actual status of what you try to comment on, you wouldn't have to make yourself look like a [***] like you just did. HOLLOW? Certainly a debt collector Hollow is your life in that dead end job. Just stay in your tiny cubicle making call after call and trying to act like the telephone tough guy by calling people "professional debtors". Thats funny. I was young once - I can remember the mindless idiots they hired to do collections. How pathetic it was. I moved on, now I'm a business owner and debt free I might add. Don't worry little HOLLOW, one day you too will see how pathetic your life is in that cubicle and maybe even be wise enough to move on.
- db replies to AnonymI just got off the phone with an attorney who is a member of N.A.C.A. -- He didn't know the name of Kingman Cole but when I mentioned they were formerly Marshall and Ziolowski Enterprise, LLC he knows them well. He said their entire operation is a scam. He has a judgement against them for over $20K and knows an associate who has one for just under $90K -- He said they are a fly by night scam company and the next time anyone ever gets calls from them just to do one of two things: 1. record their call and play along (play broke & dumb), he said these people will break every law on the books including threatening imprisonment or arrest. If you can get them on take making these threats then give it to their local police who WILL arrest them. or 2. Laugh in their face. He says most times these "debts" they call on are fake, old, discharged, ect. and they have no validation at all. - Ask them to send validation of the debt and watch them lose it! This is because they cant! The attorney said there is no point in sueing them because they have no assets and just like they did with Marshall and Ziolowski Enterprise, LLC...they will just reopen in a different name. Just keep filing complaints with the proper local channels.
- db replies to HOLLOWHOLLOW, Once again, I know your an angry little man because you have to sit in your cubicle all day and try to convince yourself you have an important job as Mr. Bill Collector, but you don't! Quit taking your anger out on comments you have no clue about. I wish I did have a legit debt for you to call me on...I'd send you home crying and you'd never collect again.
- db replies to GiggidyIt's simple...Call the number that the recording gives, ask whoever answers for the mailing address and mail them a "Cease & Desist" letter informing them that you want all contact to cease. Mail that letter Certified Mail with a delivery receipt so just in case they keep calling you can prove in court (if you wanted to sue for continued calls) when you had the Cease & Desist delivered.
If they are a legit company then it's just that simple. You might want to talk to someone to find out why they are calling just to make sure it's even you they are looking for -- Make them provide the info, at most you can provide the last four numbers of your SSN. - dbGot a message left on my voicemail from Kingman, Cole & ASS's :) "Mr.Houston" called regarding a "pending lawsuit" and he "seriously needs to speak to me or my attorney......" This was left on my voicemail. That's against the law. I called back and found out it was from a 7 year old debt which has been resolved. When I questioned him on this and instructed him to send me validation of this debt he got very upset and tried to spit out all the legal mumbo jumbo he could think of.. "he'll note it as a refusal to pay, forward it to legal so they can start the lawsuit papers and legal proceedings..." then hung up. Again, against the law. I requested validation of the debt, he refused. I knew something wasnt right so I did some research and spoke to an attorney. He doesnt know Kingman Cole but does know them as Marshall and Ziolowski Enterprise, LLC -- A, in his words, "fly by night scam". He said they are full of garbage and say just about anything illegal under the sun. Under their former name they have several judgements against them. They are useless to sue because they have no money or assets to take. They get old debt info from bankruptcy courts, some how getting peoples credit reports, ect.. and they are no longer valid debts - either paid, discharged or past statutes of limitation. His advice, try to get them on tape threatening arrest or imprisonment or just laugh in their faces.
- Caller: Kingman, Cole & Associates
- Call type: Debt collector
- db replies to ICEMANI just went through it with them today. Ended up talking to an attorney who sued them under their former name: Marshall and Ziolowski Enterprise, LLC -- He says they are a fly by night scam company trying to collect debts that can no longer be collected on. If they call again I'd suggest you ask them to send 'validation of the debt'.... As soon as I did that the collector lost it! ..because they cant prove its a legit debt! Otherwise the attorney suggested I either laugh in the face next time (been done already) or try to get them on tape threatening arrest or imprisonment by just playing along with them on the next call - In which case they will be arrested if you can get those threats on tape.
- db replies to HaveDebtNope... I'm afraid the BS Detector sniffed that one out correctly -- Fake Report. I had a run in with them and as soon as I told them to send me validation of the debt the collector lost it and started threating his lawsuits until he hung up on me. Those people are a joke. The so called debt they called me on turned out to be NOT legit. I even asked them for the mailing address to send a Cease & Desist letter and they refused to give it to me! Pathetic excuse for an American if you ask me.
- db replies to cindySimple. It's not a valid debt and they know it. Laugh in their face the next time they call.
- why is thisI have gotten this call 2 times now. I don't owe anyone.
It was a threatening message by some machine.
This time the phone number didn't even show. I have caller ID.
Oh well, I am not in any trouble, nor owe anyone. This is harrassment, and I don't know what to do about it. They didn't mention any names, but just insisted there was a court number da da da da against me.
Good grief, I am 73 years old. What kind of deal is this company up to?- Caller: unknown
- fight backDoes anyone have this companies address so everyone that comes in contact with these collection scamers can send them a certified letter to stop harrasment. If someone has it please post it on this site with a copy of the letter so we can all shut them down. They have got a lot of nerve trying to collect from people even after the statute of limitation has passed considering that they owe alot of money to the courts and the people that sued them for breaking collection laws by harrasing people and they never payed they just change there name from Marshall & Ziolkowski to Kingman & Cole and Associates there a bunch of hipocrits.

- Sandra replies to No NameHow in the hell do I get these guys off my back???? They are threatening me to take me to Civil Court. That they already have a case number on me. They even intimidated me and scared me enough to where I ( stupidly ) gave them my bank account number b/c I was scared to death of these guys. I can not afford to go to court and miss work. I was going to see what I could do............but then I looked them up and googled Kingman, Cole and Assoc. And I was lead to this site! Come to find out they are scammers and know how to play this game so well, that they have intimidated a lot of people to do what I did. I immediately called my bank and closed the account before they could do anymore damage! I also found a site that actually helps us against them!www.budhibbs.com This guy knows how to play back but even harder. He knows the game. Now they figured out that I closed my account and they have no access to my money and they are pissed! Now they're really threatening me with a bunch of fees etc, etc. These people are aweful!
- S replies to GodprotectsusContact this guy! www.budhibbs.com Look up Kingman Cole and Associates under the New York State Bar and you WILL NOT FIND THEM LISTED! They are liars and they probe on people like you, me and many others! They use threat tactics and in many cases apparently it has worked. Contact the site I posted above. You will find it very helpful. Kingman Cole and Associates is one of the many listed as one of the worst scamming collection agencies period!!!!!
- Sandy| 1 replyKingman Cole & Associates has been harassing me and threatening me with taking me to Civil Courtin Harris County. They even claim to have a case number...and have left the case number on my voicemail. They are forcing me to pay a big lump sum with in a couple of days or else they are taking me to court. After looking them up under the New York State Bar, I found out they are not even a real law firm. They are totally misrepresenting themselves......They are claiming that they bought credit card debt from Providian and now I owe them money. The last activity that took place on that credit card was back on April of 2004. They started with this harassment on May of 2008. I want these people off my back. They call me at work and on my cell phone. I want these clowns off my back. They are like rabid dogs that just keep coming after you.....no matter what..........
