- Charlie| 1 replyI am writing to cancel the tea from being shipped out to my address.
I would like a refund for the $34.90 that was drafted from my account on
the seventh of May 2008. I don't want to have my account closed due to
continuing drafts from your company. Your attention to this matter is
very important. Thank you. - Rebecca replies to LoriI also purchased the WuYi but got a complete refund, then I called Living Lean after finding out who they were and the charges for two months of $19.95. The guy on the phone said absolutely they could not refund my money, but I asked for a manager and he got a little smart with me I kept pressing the issue and told him a second time what I wanted after he asked me what I wanted and he pretended he was a manager. I said sir are you a manger and then I was put on hold for a manager for a long long time but finally got a manager and first she said they could refund me only $19.95 and I told her that it was fraudulent what they were doing all the time remaining calm and simply firmly stating the facts then she paused and said that they would refund me the two months at 19.95 each. I just hung up with her and she gave me a confirmation number and said it would be three days until it was refunded. We'll see if I actually get my money back. When I researched and finally found the paragraph where it was laughingly "giving" me a trial month and then would charge me nineteen dollars and ninety five cents (spelled out in words once again deceptive). That's just ridiculous. Good luck.
- huskerfanI didn't receive a phone call, but I did chat with "Maddy" from http://www.wu-yisource.com. Hope this helps. Hopefully I'll find something out by Friday, May 16.
Maddy: Welcome to Wu-Yi Source, I hope you have had a great day so far. I am happy to assist you with any questions you might have regarding the tea, which has helped countless people around the globe.
you: I would like to know how to cancel my account from Living Lean since it didn't get cancelled when I stopped shipment for the tea.
Maddy: Could you please provide me with your full name and email address, so that I can pull up your details?
you: *******#########*#*#**#*#**#*#*
Maddy: Thanks, you have to wait at least for a minute, so that I can locate your order. Would that be ok?
you: thanks that would be great
you: if you need more info let me know
Maddy: We are sorry for any inconvenience, Living lean is a part of our program and it is mandatory for all.
Maddy: For cancellation of living lean, Everyone has to make their call separately at 1- 866-396-5711. Where They will be assisted by a Living Lean representative.
Maddy: Kindly make your call - Monday to Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM MST only.
you: I heard they don't answer and I didn't order from them...I ordered from you and you gave them my account number so I would like you to cancel for me

Maddy: I will forward your massage to our management.
Good Luck everyone! - Teresa replies to ConnieI've been charge twice as well, $19.95 each time. I haven't called them, due to the fact I couldn't figure out who or what Living Lean Las Vegas was associated with. Anyway now that I have found all these posts and realize who is charging me I will be trying the chat session that was previously mentioned as well as calling and emailing.
I'm wondering hasn't anyone turned them into to the Better Business Bureau? I will be as well as turning them into the State of Nevada Business Board. Although it may sound like threats to them, both the BBA and the State of Nevada will pursue it, especially with all the complaints. - Dawn replies to LoriHi, the same thing happened to me. I had a charge last month for Living Lean which I didn't recognize and assumed I ordered something I forgot about. I mentioned it to my husband and we kind of forgot about it. Then the next month same charge showed up, so I looked up Living Lean and came across this site. I'm not telling anyone to do this, but this is what we did. We called the bank and cancelled my card so they cannot charge us again. I was in panic mode when all of you said they charge again 54.95. The bank is going to dispute the last charge of 19.95, there is nothing they can do about the last one, but they assured us we would at least get this last charge back. It's such a shame that there are so many people out there that spend their lives cheating others.
Hope this helps anyone. - laurie replies to sheilathese people are real scam artists. was told had free trial and then charged 29.99, just saw they billed me again this month for 19.99 for what...dishonest foreigners.
- Kathy replies to sheilaThis guy is sooooooooo dishonest. What an evil person doing this to individuals who trusted him. He must be stopped.
- KB replies to ConnieI didn't know what this was until I googled the phone number and saw everyone's response. I called the 866-396-3695 and was on hold for 20 minutes and after speaking to a Rep. and then demanding a supervisor, the lady told me she would credit my account for 4 months. It is supposed to take 3-5 business days, so if I don't get a credit I will be filing charges as well. Live and learn I guess!
- Elsie replies to KathrynKathryn... I just cancelled my order with Wu-Yi Tea. I've been calling Living Lean but it is constantly busy. Do they have a web site? Do you know of any other way of reaching them? Thanks for any help you can give me.
- pericksjI called the 1-866-396-5711 number and was able to speak to a "live" representative. When I told her that I had tried to cancel a number of time in the past she assured me that this was not true because they didn't have any record of it, but she would be happy to do a cancellation today. I told her not to bother because I had already changed my bank account number and any further attempts to charge my account would be blocked by the bank and the bank would take steps to stop the fraudulent activity. She insisted that I had never cancelled and would not stop talking long enough to listen to anything I had to say. Moments after I hung up on her I recieved a phone call from her Supervisor, Tim - from this number... 1-800-741-1283. He assured me that my account would be credited for the last 4 charges of $19.95. Well, lets see if that really happens. In the meantime...fee free to use that number to contact Tim.
- PatI ordered the tea from WuYi and did not use any of it. Returned it all ... and after some hassle, did get my money back. There was a charge from IW/Living Lean on my Visa, which I disputed. Today I checked my account and found that ANOTHER charge had been made.
I did not know that there was a connection between the companies, but suspected that there was. I disputed the second charge and then did an internet search and found a site that said to go to www.selfhelpworks.com/cancel. I did that and found the message to call this number if you had purchased the WuYi tea.
I made that call. I spoke with one representative who was willing to cancel future charges, but NOT the two that had been already made. I told her that I have received NOTHING from their company, neither goods nor services and I would not pay for receiving NOTHING! She said that the e-mail may have gone to my spam or screened mail. I again insisted that I had not received anything from them and that they cannot charge me.
I told her that I realized that she probably did not have the authority to cancel the charges and asked to speak to her supervisor. She said she could offer to cancel one, but not both of the charges and if I wanted them both, I would have to talk to her supervisor.
The "supervisor" said he "would do me a favor" and cancel the charges, if I would "do him a favor" and call my bank to tell them that I am withdrawing my dispute. I told him that the credit card was not issued by my bank, but that I am in the process of preparing a letter to the credit card company, and I would let them know that the charges are being refunded. He said it would be 3 to 5 days before the refund shows up on my card. I asked for his NAME, the name of the company (which he said is Raven Media, not Living Lean!) and a telephone number to include in my letter to the credit card company! I suspect that he was not a "supervisor" as when I asked for this specific information, it sounded like he had someone in the background telling him what he could say.
I am giving you all this information in case it will help you get the charges taken care of. You have to be FIRM and SPECIFIC. I only got action after I told them that I had disputed the charges. In my opinion, this is a SCAM! Many people will not know what it is or how to dispute it ... and will just pay it! That is what they are hoping for! Keep after them! - Karen replies to SharonSharon, I am yet another victim of this "GREEN TEA PARTY" shall we say. I was just going to cancel my order & supposed membership as I am also on Medicare trying to recover from 2 failed spinal fusions - your statement of every dollar counts really hit home for me. I say thank you for trying to make these greedy, evil sons of bit....s pay and I'm doing what I can as well. My brother is an attorney (always good to have a lawyer in the family I say)! God Bless You - I don't know you but you'll be on my prayer list. Sincerely, Karen
If you would just drop me a return email so I know you got this I'd appreciate it; just a yes or no. Good luck to us all. - Karen replies to Shirky| 1 replyI'm with all of you who tried to make a simple purchase of something that sounded helpful (I am recovering from 2 failed spinal fusions and carrying extra weight is the worst thing I can do for certain failure). Anyway, I'm replying to as many people on the "scam list" as possible. Feeling FOOLISH & USED here in Rocklin CA I will do whatever I can to see these greedy, evil people put in their place (A prison cell would work don't ya think? God Bless & good luck to us all. Sincerely, Karen
My brother is an attorney Shirky - I will get his advice and pass it on to you. Will you do me the courtesy of a simple "Yes I got your email" just so I know we're all on the same page? Thanks. - Page replies to ConnieYou know I'm glad I looked this charge up because IW/Living Lean was just having a good ole time charge this to my Card. I spoke with Eric who said it was seperate from the Wu Yi Tea and was explained in my order. Well if it was explained I would have canceled both!!!!! Then he had a nerve to tell me I could not receive any credit due to it was past the time of trial period....I'm never ordering anything online again.
- RhondaI also got the charge for $19.95. I went to the online chat at their website and told them I was going to file a compalint with the FTC and BBB today; I also contacted my bank and told them that it is a scam. The online chat operator said he would take care of contacting Living Lean and have the charge credited back to my account and cancel my enrollment. I gave them until next week, my bank is also monitoring it. I am still going to alert the FTC and BBB, this is not right - to enroll people in something they do not want. I never received a call, just a charge to my account.
- Kolby replies to LoriHi there I am going through the same thing as we speak. My account has been overdrawn due to this scam! How can i stop it? i need help!!!!!
