They used to finance Spirit Airlines as well.  Spirit is now backed by Barclay Bank.  Thank you all for telling your stories about this stupid phone number and all the suggestions for harassing them!

This number also calls me about 15-25 times a day. My account is currently up to date, however, it was about a month past due by about $5.00. They are now calling my work, assuming they are trying to contact me, even though I have brought my account current.

I have been receiving these annoying phone calls for over a month...they ask for a Crystal...there has never been a Crystal at my phone number. I have repeatedly asked them to remove my number, but to no avail. I refuse to give them my name OR my social security number. I'm just curious if when you were transferred to the customer security specialist did you have to give the your name or social security number. I feel this is a scam and WILL NOT give them my name.

For several weeks I have been receiving calls from this number; many times during the last week.
I do not recognize the number. While there is ample opportunity to leave a message on my phone (my number is on the  "do not call" registry) not one message has been left.

Others who have been bothered by the same caller  - 866-408-4070 - believe the party(s) responsible for these calls is a collection agency. In light of the fact that I have a high credit rating and no past due amounts, there is no reason for a responsible and credible collection agency to contact me

This number is calling my cell phone constantly - morning, day, and night.  It keeps leaving voicemails yet there is no messagae.  How can I make this top?

My mom has a credit card through Barclays Bank.  She usually pays her bill a week ahead of time as she did this month.  On the day she paid, the calls started - relentlessly.  Within 5 days, they called 13 times.  Sometimes it was 4 calls a day.  

Last June/July, they called 32 times in 14 days.  14 days!  Obviously the idiots at the collection agency didn't get the message that the fricken bill had been paid!

I have received calls throughout the day for the past week.  The robot only request an account number and my SSN.  Whenever I called back I reached the same recording.  Finally after entering numerous random numbers, a live person came online.  They were calling on behalf of Barclay's Bank.  I spoke to a supervisor and voiced by complaints.  I will submit a cease and desist letter with the threat to file a Fair Debt Collection complaint if the calls don't cease.

Just got a new cell number and the account isn't even in my name. There's no reason for them to have it (on the do not call list as well) and I've never had an account with them. Called the number and pushed 0 until I got someone. Guy said they don't have an account that corresponds with my phone number that they've been calling day and night for the last 2 weeks. Told them to remove my number. This is my favorite part, guy said they can't remove a phone number without an account number. Not kidding. He said that.

This company has continuously called me asking for George Depotree 3-5 times daily (early morning and late evening) since I got my phone at Christmas.  I have done everything necessary per the prompts to say they are calling the wrong person yet continue to get harassed.  Even spoke with a live body (from India, Phillippines, ??) who apologized and said they would take my name off the list.  That was like 20 calls ago.  Further, when you call the number back it simply asks for your customer ID or SS # !!!  which leads me to believe they are trying to get your SS #.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.  I am going to contact an attorney to see what can be done about these harassing phone calls TODAY.

I AM NOT LATE ON ANY OF MY BILLS, BUT I STILL GET 4 OR 5 CALLS A DAY.  NO ONE EVER ANSWERS....

I am receiving SEVERAL calls EVERY DAY FROM 877-408-4070.  They NEVER LEAVE A MSG. Call all hours of day & night & harassing me. I would like to report this # & stop these calls immediately!!!

I just called them about a dozen times, waited for a human, then hit 'em with my dogs squeaky toy and hung up. Gratifying.

That is why I am getting a federal agency involved tomorrow because most the blogs trying to legitimise this number probably work with the people trying to scam you
