Numerous call per day with no one on the other line to resPond when I answer

It's a SCAM!! They call me twice a day even though i don't owe money nor have a credit card or account with them!! They even call on Sunday!!! it's getting annoying

Yeah....which is stupid because the payment book is clear on the payment due dates.  There are also grace periods for the 1st payment due date. Very annoying.

1.450.5817...This is a scam. They claim to be with SYNCHRONY BANK... But the Indian accent man called symphony bank has to do with Walmart they try to get your account number I called up customer service at Walmart this is not even their number they've never herd of that number. WAlmart customer service number is a totally different number ...So I called them back up and told them that they were scam and full of s$@t and not to call me anymore

It's 5/3 bank.

I just hate how 5/3 bank harasses me when I'm a couple days late on my payment when I only have around $1,500 in credit card debt with them and you know there are people out there who owe them SO MUCH MONEY!!! Like leave the little guy who actually pays you alone and go for the person who owes you like $300,000+ it's so messed up.

This number now belongs to the Old Navy credit card activation line. They were calling me because they sent a care a month ago and I didn't activate it. This is a legit caller now. They just had me go online to my account to activate/checking mostly to see if I received it.

Have been getting 2-4 calls a day for the past week (over a weekend). Only answered once, after reading these comments. The guy claimed to be with 5th/3rd, said my account was overdue and wanted a payment over the phone. I said if they were real they would've left messages ANY of the times they called, and he said "I apologize for that ma'am." I told him I would not pay over the phone and was going to hang up. He sighed and simply said "okay ma'am you have a great day." At least he wasn't incredibly harrassing, as lots of other comments have said.

I will be cancelling my credit card with them, as this is absolute crap.

Yes they did the same to me and they even left a message asking for our acct number and then social security number!

I'm having the same thing. I called to check my account through the Fifth Third Bank phone number and I'm current on my account. I have no idea what's going on.

Hell, just ignore the phone when you see the number if you have ID phone

I have received constant calls from this number. They do not leave a message, but have been reported as being associated with 5th 3rd bank, where I do have an account. I have contacted my branch. This is not a legitimate number for them. There are no issues with my account. My branch is reporting this number to their corporate office as a scam.

I've gotten repeated calls in the last couple days. They leave no message and I have no affiliation with this number.

Why do they call you and not have any business  with them

I agree they call constantly. Never will i do biz with 5/3rd i havea 30+thou equity and husband lost. 50 0/0 of bussiness due to econemy. They were so insensative to it that they closed our access and we were counting on it to get us thru the hard economic times. Thank god my home loan is with a different entity that has been great in respecting us and yhr hard times or im sure they wouldof taken our home to. 5/3 third tried to get us to consolidst them. HELL NO...my eggs eill never be in all one basket.. I WILL FILE B&k on them...and them only if it continues. Stay away from FIFTH THIRD BANK

I believe that this is a phishing attack by someone posing as 5/3. Their automated dialer hung up on me when the call was connected. When I called back, The first IVR prompt that was played was a request to enter my account number. (I pressed 0) The second prompt was a prompt to enter my SSN (I pressed 0), the third prompt was a request to enter my phone number, again I pressed 0. The IVR immediately hung up on me.

I called back in again and entered all 9's for the account, ssn, and phone number. I was directed to an agent who sounded like she was from the APAC region. I asked why I received an unsolicited call from this number and she said that she could not provide me any additional information unless I verified my identity. I declined to provide this info, and asked to speak with a manager. She refused and said that I must validate first.

I'm not going to deal with anyone who's asking for my acct number, SSN, and phone before telling me what the call is about.

The agent's employee number is T22216A, she refused to provide a name or location and did not know where the headquarters of 5/3rd was.
