- AbbeyI just got a call by that phone number. I didn't pick it up because I didn't recognize the phone number. They didn't leave a message. I've blocked their phone number. Put them on my block list on my cellphone so they can't call me again.
- kelly sandskeeps calling daily and gives no information
- Mr.Dead Beat replies to Mike| 3 repliesHe refused to answer your intrusive questions because it would be illegal for him to do so. You're an idiot if you think the BBB has any power over this company.
- Mr.Dead Beat replies to Dan| 3 repliesThat's a pretty stupid thing to say. They already have way more information on you than a simple DOB. Do you wear an aluminum foil hat?
- vernidaI keep getting a call from 877-249-2168, but when I answer it hangs up. I've tried calling back and always get a recording that all Reps. are busy, yet I've held for up to 10 minutes and no one ever answers. Please stop calling me!
- Julie replies to MikeIt is Valarity a collection agency. I had a bill that I was paying on for a hospital and because the amount was so large they sent it to this company. I just pay the minimum amount and call a day. The woman that I spoke to there was very nice.
- Tony replies to krystalWow if you're making payments and they still turn you over you don't owe the bill had that happen to us we were paying 1 a math turned it over to collection and we didn't owe any thing after.
- MartyGot a call from this number asking for my husband. I told them he was not here and asked if they wanted to leave a message. They said no and wanted to know how to get in touch with him. I said tell me who you are and what this is about and I give him the message. Woman said her name was Jasmine and that this was a personal business matter. My husband and I have been married for 43 years, there's not much I don't know about his personal business. She said that she needed to talk to him and that was all she could say. I told her if she can't tell me what she wants with my husband, I can't tell her how to get in touch with him. Not everyone that gets these calls are deadbeats. in fact the deadbeats don't get the calls because they either give false info or get a new pre paid phone. Your name can get on a list and it gets passed from one jerk to another. We had a collection agency trying to collect on a debt that had been paid off for 14 years. Another bill had been paid for 8 years, same bill went through 3 different collectors. Third collector said they would settle for 50%, I told them to try to collect that 50% from the original creditor and let me know how that works out. Never heard from them again. There should be laws on how much harassment good people should have to put up with from these people. If they have the right to collect a debt then they have all your info and should not ask you to tell them anything but should ask if this is your address or birthday. Don't give personal info to anyone that you do not know!
- SprMO replies to Bailey MTY for info.! Indeed VALARITY and MERCY HOSPITAL debt collection.
- LindaJust got a call from this company Valarity today ,,,The caller said " May I please speack to Linda " then immediately said very fast that her name was Charity and that she needed me to verify my birthday to discuss an important issue with me . Whatever... I said No I will not give you that informaton and hung up...How do I get these people to quit calling me and from other people's comments I see that they are a collections agency.....WE do nt owe anybody anything... we pay off our bills each month...WRH is going on ???

- Selah| 1 replyMercy was at fault for not filing to my insurance. They have now done so, and called Valarity three times in the last week to rescind my debt while it's pending under insurance. Valarity still calls me multiple times a day, and insists they never recieved any calls about it and will continue to call me. They were also quite rude the last time I owed money- what I could afford to pay wasn't enough for them. I will happily pay directly to Mercy what I owe, after it's gone through the insurance.

They can take it up with the hospital I gave the check to. I do have the copy of the check as they have cashed it and it was taken out of my account.

- Nathan StanleyThis stupid phone number has reached my cell phone 12 times in the past week! I want this to stop at once!
- Call type: Debt collector
- John Richey replies to Mr.Dead BeatI'd say that is a wise thing to say. It may be that this particular company knows a lot about you, but others may not know anything. Best to keep the lip zipped.
- John RicheyI received a call from this number. I found out who it was via Googleing the number. Once I knew who it was, I found that I owed them about $40+/-, so I paid it. SO far, after a few weeks, the calls keep on coming. Maybe they think they can confuse you and get you to pay double. No matter, I will never give out any personal info, ESPECIALLY financial info, like acct numbers, credit card, etc. They will just have to find out the hard way it is already paid. If it goes on a few months or so more, I'll report them to thestate dept of commerce. The BBB is a waste of time.

- JenI don't have an outstanding bill, I've never been to Mercy hospital or any affiliate of theirs.
- Anon replies to JudyActually if you tell them to stop, by law the must or you can file suit. Learn the law.
- Lynn replies to georgeI don't even owe a bill to Mercy and they still are calling!
- Stormlyn replies to Mr.Dead BeatNo need for calling people down. A lot of people don't realize phone, date of birth, address is all part of public information.
