Over the past year, I have received harassing phone calls regarding a collection debt for someone I do not know.  I stopped accepting phone calls on my land line due to these harassing calls and today I received a voice mail message on my cell number.  I have made numerous attempts to call the number listed above for the Law Office of Joel Cardis LLC and receive an automated message indicating the person I am trying to reach is unavailable.  The automated service prompts me to press#2 to leave a message and when this is done I receive a busy signal.  I understand the collection services have a job to do however they should be able to track the appropriate party from whom they are attempting to collect a debt.

I don't know these people, nor do I have any debt..., wish I has an air horn for every time they called.

Received a call from 877-444-4655 at 8:10 am.  Person left message saying was from attny Joel Cardis' office but didn't say who he was calling for.    Don't they know its unlawful to call before 9am!!!!!!!  

Missed a call on 5-1=14 from same scammers. Looked on web and found this info.   I have never had a collection agency call or bad debt.   Thanks for all the info. Will report to my lawyer.

Who is this idiot? Is he really a Lawyer. Keeps calling my house and all I hear is a beep. Tired of being harassed. Never ever received anything in the mail from this guy. I do not have any outstanding accounts anywhere. Is he just looking to make an extra buck off people who work their butts to make a dollar?

The law office of Joel Cardis LLC call my cell 1-2  times a day with a recording to call 1-877-444-4655 and use reference number •••••• it is very important, call today. I think it is nothing but a scam.

The debt they are calling on is not even valid.

We got a letter in the mail.  I called THEM because I had no idea what it was about.  They even had less of an idea what it was about.  I realized what issue they were trying to collect on - which is NOT VALID DEBT after a few moments of speaking with "Mr. Quarles."  This guy would not even let me speak.  He interrupted me, talked over me, accused me, told me what to do - and it's not even MY DEBT! I am assisting with someone's finances who suffers from a brain injury! He then accused me of changing my story - the one he wouldn't let me tell, twisted my words around and demanded that I pay this random unaccounted for debt - and then to CALL HIM BACK when I figured out what happened lolollol.  This is NOT MY DEBT Mr. QUARLES, so don't demand that I research anything.  He got a sweet little letter drafted today which will be mailed certified tomorrow advising him to never call my number again and to manage the account through written correspondence. The debt truly is not valid.  It has been disputed before.

Make sure to file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.  This law office seems to want to harass people without cause.

BEING HOUNDED BY CARDIS LAW FIRM. BEEN TOLD I BETTER CALL  BACK. DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE OR WHY THEY ARE CALLING. DON'T LIKE BEING THREATENED. IF I HAD THE MONEY TO COVER ALL MY DEBTS AND MEDICAL BILLS THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID A LONG TIME AGO. I HAVE NEVER HID FROM ANYONE AND IF I OWE SOMEONE MONEY SEND ME A LETTER AND LET ME KNOW. my husband tried to call them back and they told him they had no idea what he was talking about. sounds fishy to me.
