The same just happened to me that they are from RBC
I told them that  it was a scam and I don't want them to call me I also went to the bank
I call them and told  the bank about the number

People are calling RBC clients and asking  them if they want to sign up for insurance. I just got a call on my phone from 1 877 237 0046 and 1 877 769 2547 and it  said 'fraud or scam' as it was ringing both times! I answered it anyways to see what they were offering. She/he didn't sound professional at all. I said I will go into my bank and enquire about it and she said the Bank won't offer it and they (scammers) are a third party. I told her I don't deal with third party callers and that's when I hung up. Google also says it's a scam. I know RBC or any bank will not ask for personal information like credit cards or sin but it didn't go that far. I just hope that they're not successful in scamming. Beware ;)

These guys are relentless. Been calling me for at least 4 weeks now but still haven't answered them. Keep trying guys!

RBC. Relentless calling. I called back and he said they just needed to update my employer name. Still got calls, wanted to see if I wanted any additional products. Still got calls, put me on your God damn do not call list.

This number keeps on calling me many times a day. It's not RBC. I believe it's a scam.

I just got a phone call from this number: 877-769-2547. Why they called and then hung up immediately does not impress me at all. I plan to contact RBC to have this issue both reported and dealt with.

If anyone can prove  RBC has allowed for personal information to get in these peoples hands please inform.  I feel this is unprofessional and concerning and do not like being contacted this way without prior consent.  I am going to block this number.

Not true I called number back and it is a RBC call center

I don't care if they are "RBC" employees or call center employed by them they are ultimately responsible for the harassment they inflic  on their customers

Oh so when you call the number they show on call display its not theirs but you reach them anyway? Yeah get your head out of the clouds they're scamming you. Legit companies do it too.

Defiantly RBC sent an e mail telling them not to call me anymore as on do not call list. As they are Canadian they have to comply if not I will report them.

They have been calling me constantly like 3 or 4 times daily for the past week. Getting very annoying. AND it's definitely not RBC.

This is an RBC advice center call.

Had a call from this number and I just called back to find out who it was. It WAS RBC wanting to know if I have any questions about my car loan and if there was any other banking or investment information they could help me with. I told them I am good. That was that.

Very annoying, they've called everyday for weeks.  I have not answered and they do not leave a voice message.

Whoever these people are they are annoying and irresponsible. They never leave a message.
I called them and asked to have my number removed from their call list - they started to ask all kinds of questions about my RBC account.
I told them it was obviously a scam - they didn't need any info, as they had called my number.
Just remove it - simple.
I was told they couldn't.
I informed them it was harassment and will call the police if it continues.

I found a way to beat these crooks at their own game - I went into my RBC account and changed my number to 877-769-2547.
Magic - the calls have stopped! If is is a legit RBC call, they can still get hold of me by email.
