They called me yesterday and I hung up mid conversation when they started asking detailed questions. They called again today and I didn't answer. Scam, I think so.

Have been getting calls from this number all week, almost everyday, and sometimes several times a day.  I don't answer and  they never leave a voice message.  If it's important, they should leave a message.  Very suspicious and annoying.

They called me a few time and I think it is actually RBC.
If you use one of those on-line internet phone (voip), you can actually set whatever phone no and / or contact to display on the other end. Bottom line: never trust what shows up on the call display.

The person said they were with RBC and asked for my husband. He hasn't had an account with RBC for 10 years and doesn't have any credit cards, investments, etc with them. I asked them to stop calling but they said only he can request that! Next time I will say I am the husband and tell them to permanently remove our number from their list!

Ignore some of the posters here, they are either trolling or are part of the scam. This number is a scam. If you don't believe me, call RBC yourself and ask about this number, they will tell you. They will also tell you they will never call YOU and ask for info.

This is NOT Royal Bank. any number that starts with 877 is a tool free number just like 1-800

Called me 3-4 times per day in the past week. Never left a message.
If it is legit and important, it should at least leave a message. Very annoying.

I've been getting a few calls a day from this number. I picked up a couple of times and they said its RBC. When i told them i couldnt talk, they asked when would be a better time to speak to me. They called back but when I pick up there's no one there and the call would end. I just phoned RBC and they said it's their proactive team. Don't know what's going on.

It is not Royal Bank, it is a telemarketer that RBC has given my number too. I am fed up with Royal Bank's bad marketing and failure to respect my privacy.

They absolutely insist they are RBC... I think I believe them... but will check with the Bank in the Morning - Although she does say they don't do outbound calls.. So potentially a Hijack

After receiving many calls from this number, I called the number to back of my card royal bank, and they confirmed that 1877-769-2511 is one of their numbers. They call to know if we are satisfied with our services. I said stop call me and they told me they remove my name from their call list.

I searched the number, and one of the links went to the RBC Facebook page where they claim it IS their number.

This is definitely a scam. I called RBC myself to confirm that this number is a fake number.

It is RBC, called them and confirmed. just a second ago.

I called the 877-769-2547 and the guy said that because I am not an RBC customer - there is no way they can remove my information as he has no way of looking it up, and he also evaded the question when I requested to speak with the manager.  Then the guy asked me for my first and last name saying there might be something he can do... I "politely" hung up.

So pissed.  Confirmed it was RBC.  Was told our number couldn't get on the no call list because I was not a client.  That such BS.  I am so pissed and frustrated I actually now hate the organization.  The calls never stops.  There's never anyone on the other end to swear at.  It just rings several times a day and stops.  

A fellow in the Bahamas, stranded. He's a prince and needs money to collect his inheritance. I gave him my bank information. Waiting for him to call back - nice chap.
