Well it called me bout 3 times a day everyday and I don't even deal with rbc.

rbc, no. don't have anything to do with this number. NOT   RBC.

They call me a number of times everyday. I don't answer and they don't leave a message. Annoying.

Definitely RBC!!!! They are calling me 3 times a day...Imma gonna charge them with HARRASEMENT!!!! Terrible.

CalledID Name and Number, are just data items that accompany a phone call. If you are using a VoIP (Voice over IP) phone at home, you can easily populate these data fields in your VoIP phone adapter with anything you want. I could easily identify myself as RBC, Santa Clause or anything else, and specify any phone number I like. This data attached to outgoing calls, has nothing to do with the routing of incoming calls to that number. If you call that number and it is valid, it will arrive at the proper owner of that number, not necessarily the spam caller.

So, just because a criminal is displaying a valid number for RBC, does not mean that is who he is or where he is calling from.

I get calls from this number every day for at least a month, sometimes twice a day.  I have never answered, they never leave a message.  This is very annoying and frustrating.  How are you supposed to stop these calls and is there any way to block them.

I called the number - a recording stated in both English and French that it was RBC. A real person came on - I explained that I did not widh to receive any calls - he asked me if I was an RBC customer - I stated that I was not going to discuss anything other than my request that my number be removed from their robot call list - he took my number and stated that I would no longer be called - we'll see.

My grandparents have investments for me and my brother at rbc and this number called my grandparents looking for me. My grandpa just called me and said that they were looking for me. There is no reason, after 20 years, for them to call so I'm glad I googled the rbc contact numbers and then the number my grandpa gave me. What bullsh*t.

These people can fake caller ID's now days. The number may be legit but don't believe that its coming from the real source!

Also receiving unauthorized calls from this number several times per day however have not answered because it is not a valid phone number.

Called the number back and someone answered.  They said they were the Royal Bank.  I don't believe them and they asked for my banking info which I did not give.  They have called 4x per day for 3 weeks and don't say anything when I answer and don't leave a message.  I am filing a complaint with the Royal Bank and whoever else I can think of.

Received call from this number today that left no voice mail.  This is neither a valid call nor an authentic caller.

This number has called me a couple times a week, if not more for the last few months. Last night they called 2 times, around 8pm western time and then 5 mins later. I didn't answer either call but I had 2 vm frm them. As usual, they left silent vm. U can hear that someone is on the line, and they stayed on the line both times for the whole 30 secs or however long my vm time is.  I am so sick of them calling. I've been reading on this site and another one that they r  connected with RBC but why wouldn't they leave a msg or why wld they b silent on the line with other people. It's really frustrating

I receive calls every day from this number.  It appears on my call display as LI 877-769-2547.  I have no idea what the LI means.  I never answer and just let it go to the answering machine.  Nobody ever says anything.  

I've been receiving calls from this number a few times a week. I never answer and it and everytime it shows up  on my vm that there is a vm from this number.  when I listen to it, it's silent, the person in on my vm recording the whole time but in silence. So annoying. I blocked this number so I'm not sure what really happens when u do this but we'll see

I just received a call from this number and I did call the royal bank, it is them making the outbound calls to solicit business, I told them its not a good practise when there are so many scams and really doesn't look good on them!

I have been getting 3-4 calls every day for the last few weeks. Very Annoyed.

This number phones me 1-2 times every day. STOP!!

If it's important they'd leave a message. Very annoying receiving up to 4 calls per day from same number. I don't answer any 1-8** numbers. Get the hint already. If it is legitimately RBC trying to sell additional products this may actually make me change banks and I've been with them for 20+ years but this is ridiculous.
