- Caller: Dell
- Call type: Telemarketer
- skipThese idiots call everyday, I answered as usual and told the criminal that I do not own a Dell and then he tried to tell me he was not from Dell, this time he was calling from Microsoft. I laughed in his ear and told him make up his mind one day its Dell the next its Microsoft. I told him loudly DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN! I told him they will be investigated and everyone knows its a scam, he kept saying sorry sorry sorry. Hopefully these idiots will stop these annoying calls now.

- NobbySame old "Dell" scammers.. I usually mess with them but the last guy I messed with started threatening me and actually tried to send me a virus as an attachment. This time I was listening to Eminem way loud...and answered before turning it down....and of course it was at the point where he sings "If it wasn't for [***] you'd be unemployed". I think he got the message.

- TonyReceiving calls from this number every day. The caller(s) have all the right info about the Dell Tag Number and me been a point of contact for this computer. It looks like the Dell Support Department database had been hacked. Dell should be aware about this. In my case the PC I was called about had been removed from the service 15 month ago. However I called to Dell Support about some issues with it 2 years ago. This is the only time when that specific computer and my name were connected! Originally this computer was purchased by the Company where I work 3 years before I started working for them - together with another 100 or so Dell computers. DELL, CHECK YOUR FILE AND NETWORK SECURITY AND INFORM CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE POSSIBLE DATA LEAK!
- Caller: claiming to be Dell Support
- MikeyI have been repairing computers for 15 years. I have purchased computers from DELL.com in the past and have received many phone calls from these scammers, who have legit tag numbers, for the computers I have purchased. The beauty is, that my customers do not have to deal with this deception because the scammers have only my phone number.
I would never allow them access to my computer or network and it isn't because I already know how to repair computers. It's plain old common-sense, which, forgive me for saying; isn't so common these days. Some may think they are going to receive some free computer repairs...that's not going to happen. Nothing is FREE. There is no free lunch. HANG-UP...DO NOT ALLOW THEM ACCESS!
Most of us have experienced these scam callers from 'Dhell'...but, as long as their deception is rewarded with monetary gain, by those who unwittingly allow them access to their computer. Until then, the scammers have no reason to stop.- Caller: Dhell scammer
- Marsha replies to Elizabeth| 1 replyI'm talking to a Dell tech now. He said to keep the last confirmation number they have given you and if the caller can't provide it...it's a scam
- JustinCase replies to MarshaUnless you've spoken with a tech support agent previously by initiating contact, there's no reason you'd be getting a random call about your computer. Cold calls from Indians about computers, claiming to be from IRS, or offering grants or financial services are ALWAYS scams. Hang up on random calling foreigners if you've got to take the call at all.
- Peggy99Got a call from the scammers in India using this number, claiming to be some bogus company - with systems that detected there was something wrong with my computer. Knew my full name and home number, which is unlisted.

- jifIts the fake Dell scammers again. I had it out with these a**holes about a month ago. I told the foreigner to never call here again because I spoke with the real Dell support and they said it is a well known fact that there are scammers using the same number as Dell support to try and gain remote access to anyone who will let them. DO NOT ALLOW ACCESS TO YOUR PC. These corrupt a**holes need to be behind bars.
- Caller: fake Dell
- Capt Chuck877.790.3355 is the correct Dell call-in number. This is a one-way number for in-bound to Dell
- Caller: Fake Dell
- spammerslammerSame old Dell technical support scam. They keep calling and we don't even own a Dell.

- Caller: Dell Conscierge Service

- JPI heard that a disgruntled employee was fired and allegedly stole customer data. So that is how they know your info. Be safe and call Dell support yourself using a number from the web site. These scammers are getting trickier.
- Marcialthe guy with a very strong indian accent told me that my computer security has been compromised. I told him that they have called once a week for the last year and to stop calling me. He tried to get a word in right before I hung up. Dell has screwed all of us by setting up call centers in India where our information has been stolen. I wish I knew how to stop these calls
- Caller: John
- Shel BasselI didn't pick up the call but checked the number and saw it was from Dell Concierge service. I have a Dell product and so I called them back. They explained that they would not initiate a call to a customer -- they only call in reply to a customer request. They advised me that the call was most likely a scam.
- Oralia replies to GeorgeYes, they somehow know everything about the your computer. Sadly these [***] were able to scam me because of how much infor they had on my computer. Good job for not falling for it.
