We are on the national do not call list and they still call us.

OK, someone called me from this number at 5:40 a.m. today and left a message they wanted to discuss my bill.  My bill was paid up to date.  What the hell?  Calling at 5:40 a.m.!  I'm so disgusted, I'm going to look into another provider this weekend.

That number left me a message asking me to take a four question survey. Said press one to take the survey and when I did the message repeated. I was stupid enough to repeat the message twice. Hate charter wish another company would takeover.
They are a blood sucking monopoly in my opinion.

Charter Communications calling me to let me know a service outage in my area has been resolved. The thing is --the outage was resolved FIVE HOURS EARLIER, so thanks for being so prompt, Charter.

I received a call from the same # and it was Charter Communications.

When are these legitimate orgs going to realize they need to be more forthcoming with info when they desire a response from their customers?  Frankly, I'd fire the public relations mgr. and their boss, then hire someone with a soul!

If Charter would spend more time on improving their customer service instead of advertising so much, they may keep themselves out of bankruptcy once again! Unfortunately

Not charter. It's a company that operates by selling packages for charter known as a reseller or affiliate of charter. Also they dial numbers randomly. Therefore they don't have to refer to the do not call list.

Calling to get you to take a survey on how your technican service went.

October 8th at 12:06 am Charter called using caller ID number 888-438-242.  After midnight really? Isn't this illegal?

This was Charter verifying a service call so it was legit.  If you have Charter Internet you might not want to block it.

First off, all third party companies follow the DNC. Second, I've worked for a few of these 3rd party companies. A lot of you don't realize when you call a company like Charter, Comcast, AT&T, and many others, you are reahcing A THRID PARTY COMPANY. If you simply state the words " Place me on you're do not call list", then your request will be processed within 30 days as allowed by law, unless you are a business as the DNC laws for businesses are different. As to the dialers that are used, automatic dialers are illegal to use while calling CELL PHONES, so when calling cell phones there is a different dialer that is used. If you do not wish to have you cell phone called, do not give it to a company for any reason at all.

Just received a call from these guys. Didn't answer and they left no message.

Message left saying it's Charter Communications calling to confirm changes made to our account.  And with a number to call if we didn't change anything.     They have called before but it's been a year or so.

It is not a legitimate call of course.

Just changed from a DSL provider to Charter cable internet, with installation completed less than an hour ago.  Call from this number was an automated call surveying my experience with the technician.  I don't have a problem with this as long as it is a one-time deal.  Of course having established a "business relationship" exempts Charter from the DNC rules anyway.  Not that the DNC is worth a hoot.

Never list your cell number in account information with a company unless you are sure they won't sell your number or spam you.  I bought a cheap VOIP  based telephone service called magicjack and all calls to that number go straight to voice mail .  I get an email of the text of the call.

Charter robocall saying that the next time I log in to the Charter website, it will give me an opportunity to change my user name and password. Not sure why a call was required for this.

Called 8/11/15 at 1:43 pm. Caller ID showed "Unavailable".  Although I usually don't answer "unavailable" calls, this was a recorded message from Charter Communications saying I needed to update my user name and password the next time I logged on to their website. Then told me to call back at :  888 GET CHARter, which does come out to the same number.
