- BrittanySomeone named Samantha calling from a local phone said I had a automatic withdrawal that was authorized on my checking account, and they wanted to verify information for security purposes to make sure I was the one who authorized it. At the end, she said she was collecting a debt and any information obtained would be used for that purpose. I had a similar voicemail 2 weeks before, one of those "i have your file on my desk. call right now to resolve" or whatever. Its always a different number calling, but each message says to call this one phone number. Uh, no.

- Wille SmartThey are at it again. James says my payment that I made to his Office was returned by my Bank unpaid and he won’t go into much detail right now, yet I need to immediately return the phone call to 888-585-2112 or I leave them no other option but to move forward on this matter! Go ahead James...make me pay! I’d hand deliver a payment to your cell block!

- Terri| 5 repliesA man named James from Structured Settlement keeps calling my work # and leaving a message saying that a payment I made to Structured Settlement to clear a debt was returned by my bank unpaid and that I had to call and make payment arrangements or they will have to take further measures to clear the debt. The number they leave to call back is 888.585.2112 but the number caller ID is to 850.299.9384. I don't owe a debt to structured nor have I made a payment to any one that has been returned by my bank unsatisfied. Be careful this is clearly a scam...I wish I knew how to stop the calls...uggh!!!

- Frank replies to Terri| 4 repliesYou probably have an installment loan that you took out. I came here and saw all the scams and complaints I called them to stop calling me and then they told me about the loan I owed. I called where I took out the loan and they told me to call structured settlement. I called Them back and worked out arrangements. People and the internet instead of complaining just call and see why there calling you and if it’s not you tell them to stop calling you. I read this comments and made me want to tell them to jump off a cliff but I took the time to call and now I have no collection on my credit
- A SHILL ALERT... replies to Frank...has been issued - another "forgetful deadbeat" chimes in - no company information is given either (so what else is new)...
- Tygerkat replies to FrankYou should talk to your mail carrier about all the mail you weren't receiving. I mean, how else could you forget about a loan when the issuer sends mail requesting payment after you stop paying them?
- MikeHuntleton replies to Frank
If you took the time to read, you would know they did not owe any money to "Structured Settlement". Perhaps the 'cliff idea' is the one you should have followed instead of trying to convince others to just blindly pay a scammer.Quote:I read this comments and made me want to tell them to jump off a cliff....... - ColoradoI receive calls from various local numbers and a female leaves messages about reaching a "settlement". I have no outstanding debts and I am sure this is to trick people into giving up information. However, the company does exist and apparently has been sued many times for their collection tactics. I know I am not being pursued for collection and I just want them to stop calling!!

- CharityGot the same call today saying I sent them a payment that was bounced. I dont write checks. Dont know anything about a structured settlement. I pay my bills so this number will be blocked.
- Stranded In TexasThis number left a message for me on my landline. It was a woman stating that I needed to call back regarding a structured settlement of a debt. I have no debts. Literally none so I knew it was at the very least a wrong number. I checked the number online and decided to leave this info because I don't think this caller is legit. They don't mention a name and the entire message was truncated. My advice? Don't risk calling them back on the number they leave! The caller ID shows a local area code which makes it further suspect because I live in a military town in Texas where they prey on enlisted personnel.

Claims they have a check that bounced. That I needed to call back and resolve this issue. Gave me a deadline on calling back before 4pm. Or legal action would be filed against me.
