These people called my number and threatened me. Threaten to put me in jail and such.

Got many calls from John King from structured settlement, he was so rude and said he was taking me to court for unpaid debt, and that that if I did not make a payment there would be charges brought against me for writing bad checks. He got extremely angry when I asked him if I could make a smaller payment its all I can afford, he said no that they would send to thier legal department and charges would be brought against me. I said I don't know what to do! You won't let me make a payment so I guess bring on the charges, and I hung up. He called me the following week again at work, I said I refused to work with him, he needed to give me someone else to talk to, and I said if he called me one more time at work I would report it as harassment. He called again! What can I do??! He is an awful human! Thats just the tip of the iceberg!!!!

They called me this morning. "Structured Settlements" saying, "This doesn't have to be a bad thing." Saying to call to settle the debt. He said he was calling on behalf of "the client I represent" And, "Give me a call before the deadline"....no deadline given! haha! I'm dying here. I'm in my 60s but know better. I blocked the number, but, I'm sure they have 100,000 numbers to call from. I checked my credit to be sure that nothing had slipped through the cracks, but, nothing has & my rating is not in danger from these jerks. Get a real job, stop screwing people over fake debts!

I got a call from 888-660-3313  Saying that it was "William from Structure Settlement and that he represented someone I owe a debt to
and that 'this could NOT be a BAD thing, as long as I call back to make payments. He said to call him back at 888-585-2112."

I don't owe a debt to anyone, yet he said if I don't call to pay back there will be federal people to levy my wages.

1st- he never said my name, who the message was intended for, etc...

2nd- he was talking so fast I could barely understand him... I am not 100% positive that the company he side was "Structured Settlement- but from what I could understand he said 'structured *something*"

3rd- I am on disability and barely make enough to get by as I am seriously disabled and have no family to help.

4th- I find it odd that the phone number that came up in my call history was 888-660-3313 and he said to call him back at 888-585-2112.
I looked up both phone numbers and everyone that received a call from those numbers said they were left similar messages...

I don't think I am going to call this number back as I know scammers can record your voice and use a computer to make it sound like you agreed to something just by getting you to say words/terms like your name, yes, your address, etc...

Has anyone else gotten a call from this person? This guy said his name was William (no last name) with Structured Settlements?

Note a voice mail from
Structure settlement ( ? A scam) saying he's sure he can get ahead and work this debt out. This is illegal harassment and can cost them $1500 per call. I will pursue legal action if they continue to call. They didn't even specify to whom the debt was from ( another red flag)

John King from Structure Settlement has been calling numerus times to my work asking to do an employment verification for a specific person.  He refuses to leave a message with HR and is very rude to the receptionist.  We have told him there's nobody here by that name, and he continues to call and call masking with local  phone numbers, so it' different every time.

Puzzle why I’m in collection, not say person name and company name what I owe

I bet that if you talked to them they could tell you.  I doubt that they would leave that information on voicemail or an answering machine because they don't know who would hear it.

That's 8 8 8- 5 8 5- 2 1 1 2. I do wanna advise you in federal law that this is an attempt to collect the debt. Any information obtained will be.…”

Was left a message saying this is William from Structured Settlement and that he got a message from another department that I had Authorized a payment & my denied the payment. This does not look good and subject to penalties  & it must been an oversight on my part. If I call this number they will take care of it. Then William said that this a collection agency  and any info is govern by Federal Law to be used to collect this debit.
These people should be be shot & get real legal jobs for trying to scam hard working or retired people. I have no loans or debit, just where do they come up with all these nasty mean ideas!!

A man called with a very threatening attitude and said I had an NSF check. Pretty funny, because I haven’t written a check in years. He didn’t even know my name.
Scam .They’re trying to get real creative with this crap.

Received a  call about a scheduled payment and never set up a payment to anyone.  The person said there name is Michael and Stratford settlement company. Watch out for this.

812-415-1112 on my caller ID,  left message on 4/23/2024 "this is William, I'm sure it's a oversight that your structure settlement check was returned NSF"... + same threat as other complaints on here. Only difference is, he demanded I call him back immediately at 888-585-2112 to avoid being sent to collection!

Claiming to overdraft my account good luck

Received a call from Lorenzo from Strucured Debt.  Doesn't identify who they are looking for or company they are representing.  Wants a call back to avoid escalation of debt.  Don't have any debt.

I am receiving calls from 1-888-990-2023 and 1-888-585-2112, and other numbers. Also text. I called it back and a guy name Keith answered and says structure settlement then call disconnects. I called back got a guy name James who refuses to give name of comp. He became verbally abusive and cussing demanded I give my name, social security number,  etc. I have found through internet search this is common for this number and has been reported by other victims. Filed a complaint FTC and other official agencies.
