I got a phone call from them on a Sunday Morning, but no one said a thing. So I hung up...

I don't know why this company call me everyday. i don't have any account in this company and they don't stop it.

I Keep getting call from this number,but all I get is music on the other end.I do not have a Capital 1 credit card.

You need to stop! why is it that a person who has never done business with this company have to get these calls, because the person they are
trying to find had that number, they have been calling me regarding a person that I have never heard of nor is this person any family member or friend, so why should I to be harssed for a bill that is not there's or mine. Let me ask you this? if is was you they were calling I bet your butt would be screaming to the high heavns about getting these calls.

Stop making remarks about they are calling because you owe a bill,when you don't know if that is the case for everyone that is getting a call from this company or any other company.

This number kept calling and calling and when I would answer, pre-recorded music would play.  I called the number and spoke with a rep.  I gave her my phone number and she asked if I knew the person who they were looking for (never heard of him).  She said she would take my number off the list and to give it 48 hours to take effect.

They call most days two to four times. I have repeatedly told them they have the wrong number when they call, and each time I am assured my number will be removed from their auto-dialer. They do leave messages if I miss their calls, and I have called them back asking them to remove my name as they have the wrong number. I called for the third time this morning after getting woke up at 7:00 am. A gentleman with an Indian accent assured me (again) that within 48 hours my number will be removed from their auto-dialer.

ask for a deanna smith or some other name. then ask if i hae a capital one account. then ask for my account number. i have asked them to stop calling but they wont

I keep getting callsa from this number and they keep hanging up. It is very annoying.

About 3 weeks ago I began receiving calls from this number and I have told them that they have the wrong number and to stop calling my phone, but of course, they have not.  It has now gotten so bad that I am getting calls beginning at 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.  I am now trying to find out the company name so that I can report them to the FDC.

Seems we all have the same problem with this particular company Allied Interstate.  This is just a suggestion from my daughter who is an attorney for the state of Il, that maybe we should all band together and file a class action suit against the company for harassment. Just an idea.  I am filing a complaint with FDC.

Called then back today. I took control of the conversation, and ignored the rep's questions about whomever they were looking for - it wasn't me !I firmly told the rep that they must cease and desist calling my number xxx-xxx-xxxx or I would file a complaint. The rep replied that it would take 24-48 to remove my number from their list.

We have been receiving calls from this number over the past few months. The first time that I actually spoke to someone, (the majority of the calls were hang-ups), he asked for a Russell White. I told the caller that there was nobody by that name here and kindly asked them to remove our number. The guy said no problem and hung up, (didn't ask for my info, just hung up).

Now I am getting more calls than ever... and they don't say anything, music plays, then dead air. Not only does this make me irate, but my 8 mo old gets very upset when he's in a deep slumber only to wake up to some worthless POS calling us multiple times throughout the day, (and even as late as 10:00 at night)! Needless to say, the next time I receive a call from this number and no little ears are around... I'm ripping into this [***]!! Granted, yes, it won't remedy the situation, but I will feel much better! ;)

A little FYI too: I'm in collections and THIS cannot be a reputable collection company... trust me! Total scam!!!

Got a call from this number asking for my sister. Said it was personal matter...they wouldnt tell me how they got my number...something sounds fishy. They keep calling the house, sometimes hanging up. Very frustrating.

I have received 3 calls from 1 888 748 4956. I googled the number and
found out that the number corresponds to a collection company for capital one.
They each time asked to speak to a person that doesn't live to my phone
number. I also have no account with capital one. I each time told them
they had the wrong number and should stop bothering me. Told them also
they my number i on the no-call list and would report them. They keep on
calling. They called on March 26 @ 8.48 am / March 27 @ 8.14 am /
March 29 (Sunday!) @ 8.13 am.

yeah i was bored so i just started calling the number back. it doesn't cost anything and as i was just laid off, i have lots of free time. i had originally called them to ask them to take me off their list because they were calling for a kennith (soooo not me). they never did and i get calls from them all the time. i just called and hung up or called and when they started talking i pressed the 1 key repeatedly so it beeped at them or when they started talking i pretended like i was on the phone with my best friend and we were planning a trip to europe. hopefully, they thought i was crazy and took me off their list. we'll see!

These people call 3-4x a day every day and never leave a message. I called them to have my number removed from their call list, no such luck. I have reported them numerous times to the gov, nothing is ever done which is no surprise.
