I found that they collect for medical bills...

Called asking for me a debt through Daimler Chrysler Corp that we declared in bankruptcy a few years back, will file my usual complaints with the FCC, FTC, BBB and Att Gen Office in PA.

I been getting this call also and never leaves a message so I don't call back.

If you have Comcast, they will allow you to program this # to be screened/blocked.

Same thing with me...they are asking for my daughter who does not have any outstanding debit with anyone.  I once talked with someone that was so rude, I asked to talk to her manager and the manager got on and told me that they were not being rude.
I asked them to give me the middle initial of the girl they were asking for and it wasn't my daughters. I tried to explain that to them and they said the calls would stop..now they have started up again.  I have been dealing with this for years. They are looking for a girl with the same name as my daughter that has outstanding college loans. This has been on going for more than 10 years. I have wrote letters, threatened to sue...it stops for awhile then it starts up again.

The TCPA is the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and applies to collection calls to a cell phone - collectors are violators if they do not have permission to call a cell phone and call the number.  File your lawsuit they are all scum bags

Has anyone thought of using Google Voice to set up an auto dialer to call them back? If they are able to do this, can't you do the same? We have more people than they do. If we dial their 800# from 2-3 hundred people a day.... say 10-20 times each... up to 6000 calls a day. You could record the message to please remove your number from their system and you will continue to call until you no longer receive calls from them. Yes? No?

They "Claim" to a Collection Agency; however, they ignore Basic Federal Regulations Protecting the Average Consumer!:(.  I want to Report them to the FTC, but need: 1. Their Company's Name; & 2. By law they have to give you their name & company information - if they do not - it is a scam.  You can complain to the FTC without the company information.  I gave them the phone number they were calling me from since I did not have company information.  If they do give you company information - tell them to 'Cease and Desist".  You also need to send this form in writing to them via certified mail.  You can google Notice of Cease and Desist and find samples of the letter

These people keep calling my work phone, they never ask for anyone and I work for the Federal Government.  I called them this morning and told them they will be reported to the federal authorities as this is a government owned phone number.  they removed the number from their listing.  If they call back I will turn it over to the DHS and they can deal with them.

They are a collection agency....Tate & Kirlin from Pa. They all have Middle Eastern accents and offer if you can pay one forth the bill right then and there then it will be settled. Then the next day you get a bill from their Pa., USA office, which was mailed prior to the phone call, demanding the full amount.

Same here , they called me asking me about a debt for my mother . I do not even know her ssn . And I'm sure that's 3rd party disclosure to tell someone  about someone elses debt. These people do not follow FDCPA laws .

Calls my cell phone leaves no message . ??

I have newer cell #.  They call me asking for some else. When I try to get their name & address they give me a name of Pat & Jirln assciates.  But when I ask them to spell this name they hang up on me.  This is a new cell phone # 6 months ago and when I tell the caller that, they don't believe me.  I am sick of their abusive calls and their seems nothing can be done but change my number.  Help???

Regardless who they say they are or what phone caller ID shows up it's Portfolio Recovery.  Nothing matters to these people, legit or not, they continue to harrass with no concern or regard to the law!

This number calls at least 3 times a day. No caller ID name listed. Thanks for their 800 number. Will call them a few times.
