- Patrick| 3 repliesSo this dumb a** debt collector has called with the number 720 456 3697 and the number was blocked so they try again with 720 456 3698 and I block that number so again they try with (913) 312 5183. Gee guys do you think I am really going to answer the phone just cause you use a new number. You people are ghouls and anybody who would choose a career path that involved harassing people who are obviously having a hard enough time as it is, are worse then any deadbeat. As already stated you won't get anything from me as I am on SSI/SSD and that money is untouchable with any court order unless it's from the IRS and such. So continue to spend your time and money trying to collect the noncollectable. I hope you spend even more $ getting a court order only to then find out that YOU GET NOTHING. I can't think of a group of people that I would rather screw over than debt collectors. I do enjoy getting the opportunity to out your various numbers at these type of sites.
Latest numbers used (913) 312 0548 and (720) 456 3679- Caller: Comenity Bank

- SherylA**holes same song different number. They never ever sent me a bill for something I supposedly bought - must be a new racket. OneStopPlus - you need to do you own billing - if I had ever bought/received something and received the bill, it would have been paid. Im sure the ACLU would like to tear you a new one over this new scan.

- JoAnnThese jerks start everyday including Saturday's n Sunday's. They call beginning at 8:00 am and they call every hour on the hour sometimes they call every 25 minutes between until 9:00 pm is when it stops. Oh by the way they also use the numbers: 303-255-5351 and 720-456-3688 one time it's premiere Conf it comes up on..and it comes up Comenity which is women within. WELL The s**t hit the fan when we got word that my daughter was in a accident and she's fighting for her life. I answered her when this jerk called. I tried to tell her what happened n what was going on and asked them very nicely to stop the calls because of my situtaion..at least till we see what's gonna happen and I also told her if they didn't stop with the harassing calls I'd file bankruptcy. She had the balls then to say. This phone call is being recorded for whatever purposes..then she asked me what my name was n I hung up on her. You annoying Jacka** es...keep it up and I will send you a penny just before the due date then u can't rack up the $35 late fees. I'm telling YA avoid getting a woman's within credit card, Maurice's credit card and Victoria's secret credit card. They are rip-offs and a- holes.

- BRENDACall a number of times. Leave no message. Blocked the number.
- PegJIn the past couple of weeks, I have had three to four calls daily - 1st from Comenity, then from Premiere Conf. (using the 913 number), sometimes both on the same day. My phone is my home phone and I consider it an invasion of my privacy when it is used as an advertising venue, a forum for political speeches, or a place for donation requests. I don't answer calls from anybody I don't know - including the two listed - so I have no idea what they wanted nor do I care.

- There oughtta be a lawGet calls from these people CONSTANTLY. Have never dared pick up, because (a) I don't owe anybody any money, so they can't be calling for me and (b) I've heard that if you DO pickup, they'll just call even MORE. On the rare occasions in the past when one of these lame debt collectors leaves a message, it's always either (a) for somebody I've never heard of, or (b) for my wife's deadbeat ex-husband, whom she divorced FIFTEEN years ago!. The calls keep alternating between "Sonitrol" @ 614-212-5287, "Quality Technol" @913-312-3304, "Premiere Conf" @ 913-312-3216, and "Comenity" @ 303-255-5351; I'm sure they're all the same company.

- Salem97 replies to Patrick| 1 replyI'm a little behind on my payment beacue I had to have oral surgery and had to pay the Dr since I don't have any dental insurance. I to am on SSDI and didn't know they can't do anything. I've actually found a debt consolidation company so they will be getting their payment soon. Hopefully they will stop calling after they get the first payment.

- SickOfComenity| 4 repliesComenity Bank - issues credit cards from a variety of store credit cards. I'm self-employed, dead broke without unemployment insurance, in debt up to my ears, staying with family and looking for work. I have told them multiple times that I cannot pay right now.
Still, they keep calling all day beginning at 8am and ending at 8pm. Sometimes it's on the hour, sometimes only 4 or 5 times a day. I don't know what to do! I have to answer calls from people I don't know because I'm self-employed and it could be a potential client.
Isn't there some sort of law against this? Is there a government entity I can contact to report this abuse?- Caller: Comenity
- Call type: Debt collector
- Robal replies to SickOfComenityAnd them a letter, staring that any phone calls to you or relatives, friends, will be considered as harassment. And will be reported. And that legal action will be taken. That will immediately stop the calls. It is also a good idea to record all phone calls. For your records.
- BigA replies to SickOfComenity| 2 repliesYes there are places to report them, and everything you need to know follows. If I were you, I would first send them a cease and desist calling you letter by certified, return receipt mail, and then i would seek the services a FDCPA lawyer, since the constant calling constitutes harassment. It should cost you nothing for a consultation, and if they work on contingency, they they front all costs.

One has to wonder why these allegedly “legit” companies need so many phone numbers to call people with.
Seems to be a frequent flyer in these pages with a very bad reputation. Be advised that they are not subject to the FDCPA since they are the creditor. They may however be subject to state laws.

Now for the interesting part.
BBB page with 1,655 complaints, and 216 negative reviews and they still get an A+ rating. What the heck is that all about? http://www.bbb.org/centralohio/business-revie ... olumbus-oh-6558
They must be paying big bucks to the BBB for that. Note, the BBB has suddenly removed all the complaints and ratings for this bunch of criminals. Now that must have cost some real money.
Bizapedia has them as a Florida Fictitious name but they are located in Ohio: http://www.bizapedia.com/fl/COMENITY-BANK.html

I have blocked them multiple times but the calls keep coming. When you answer the calls, there's not even a recording. They call several times a day.
- Caller: Comenity
- JayI receive calls from this number and many others they use. I actually tried to pay them on their Web site. I tried setting up monthly payments and only one payment came out and the phone calls continued. Sometimes at 6am in the morning on a weekend! So I cancelled the payments and blocked their numbers. Screw them! If they don't want to work with people who want to pay, then they don't deserve anything. I wish someone would sue them and get them closed down. They're just a bunch of cockroaches!

Repeat, they are a scam, they use many, many phone numbers. I block each one, as they come in! Contact your phone provider to find out how to block them!!!- Caller: Comenity Bank
