Calls from "Unavailable" or "Private"

Not really and it amazes me that you thought that by changing your number you would stop getting calls when in reality:

New Number
All phone numbers are recycled.  No one gets rid of a number without a good reason since it a pain in the butt to notify everyone.  So now you know why the former owners got rid of that number.

This is a number provided by IT for a major oil company I work for and it was always a company number.  It is not my personal number, fyi.  I answer it, because it could be a business call.

If the number isn't yours & was "provided by IT for a major oil company I work for", how were you able to change it?
