i have been contact several times about a grant that is not real. how do i stop them or find out who they are??

I to have been selected to receive a $7000 Grant ,i called the #202-621-0436 and this guy really tryed to get me to go up to a W/U office and all i needed was to send him $270.00 and i would receive my Grant,the name he gave me was Robret Wilson, people like this should be heald aconutable if they are trying to take money &not come through, i would really like to meet preson face-to-face,if it sounds to good to be true you can bet your ass it is,so come on F.B. I. GET THESE F-ers. J.L.

They called me saying I was approve for a grant and had to call this number, so they could sen money by western union 202-621-0436 they would get information to send it to closest western union gave me a code KT107. I don't believe them could not speak good English, lots of noise in background. Call my school were I applied for a grant said it sounded like a scam so I did not call back.

Jest got off the phone with (chris)  from 202-621-0436, thought it was too good.  whent turned it in. thay did not wont too hear it...

I got a call from these appholes telling me that i just got selected to recieve 7000 grant money cuz i'm a good person and so i told him i just got out of prison just to see what he would say then he said oh how long ago and i said two months ago he said great cuz they just changed the rules in december and since my crime wasn't in the last six months i was ok so i called the number and they tried to get my personal info wouldn't give them any of that so they said well you can get it in cash if you just send 263 bucks western union for a one time fee and i said great just take it out of the seven grand and they said no they can't do that cuz it comes out of the federal reserve bank and they have to have the fee first. lol what a crock

My friend just got ripped off by these [***] named Kelvine Parker 202-621-5808. I'm in process now of helping her file the appropriate complaints. Police, Bank, Western Union, BBB, etc. Anyone ever have any luck getting thier money back?

I received one of these calls from "Jeff Green." He told me I was one of 1500 people that received this grant for being a good citizen, meaning paying all my bills no criminal record blah blah blah. He then told me to talk to their manager/Officer "John" and to call (202) 621-0436. He asked me to mention a code to the officer it was "GA 101." I did it and actually took a video and recorded these guys from the "United States Government Grant Department"with my computer. I didn't really give them any real information just asked them many questions.

I kept getting calls from this number...... i finally answered..... had a feeling it was a scam, but called them on the 202 6210436 and gave them the reference number...... An Indian/Pakistani guy answered and  wanted to get personal info.....Of course i would not give him any info....... I told him if its legit to just send me the check..... He said: since its a large amount of money $7,000, cant do it..and they will send it via western union, as long as I have my ID.......... then I told him that i am recording this conversation..... He asked if I believed him or not? i told him to just just put it in western union and ill go pick it up with my ID...... after that he hung up...... hahahahahaha...

I Had received the same script as everyone above im, In California now it's a (206)866-5933 area code & yes they or the same guy doesn't stop calling my phone been a month he's still trying to get me too a western union store & says call me before u go in so i can give u steps before i wire the $280.00,I just keep saying all go in 20 minutes to the nearest location & exactly 30 minutes goes bye he's calling again i just ignore it,then it starts again 8am everyday im so sick want to change my # but i have to many contacts so i need my #,To remain the same but in all please don't let these people scam u or identity theif ur life.I would love for t them to steal mine i have child support in arrears & bad credit, Im currently paying child support,but in cash payments so i have no debit or credit cards they can use in my name.Any one know how they get our names & address i understand phone #'s, Companies buy those but it's almost like they have all my information but my accounts or social security # & Birthday &year!!!!

called by this number  202 621 0436 on oct 24th same [***] first a unavailible number then told me to call 202 621 0436 with the code of JN 134 - a lady answered said her name is jennifer -i needed to come up with 270.00 to recieve 7,000. grant hung up googled the us dept of grants and the tele # ended up here on this .......definitely a scam -wat do i do about it

Got a scam call to call this number about receiving a $ 7,000 grant.

I am a police officer, so after my dad received this call, he called me.  I called the number and after giving the man my "code" he asked for my name.  I told him I was calling for my dad and I was actually a police officer.  He replied "uh, hold on."  He put me on hold for about 3 minutes and then disconnected the line.  Being an antogonist, I called the number back and said, "uh, I think I got disconnected."  They asked for my name again and hung up on me again...  Yes, people.  BIG TIME SCAM.  IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS.

Dept. or Treasury, let me know at krystajo@fastmail.fm that you aren't willing to do that, and give them your list of numbers.  I spoke with them today and they want to collect and trace these numbers.  If you don't want to take the time, or can't afford the long distance call, I'll call and give them your list of numbers.

I've receive an from this number 2026210436 and they want me to send 275.00 for this fee and I would get back 7000.00 back.
