scam call about a $7000 grant, & pay $270

I recieved this same call but did not give any info.  I'm still waiting for my free Obama phone.

Calling to sat I was selected to receive a $7000 grant from the US Government.  Please quit calling me!

I received the same call, except I was chosen to receive $10,000.00. Was given an id number and told to call the same phone number as you. I called my local sheriff's office and reported it. I was told to just be cautious and not give out any personal information. Scammers beware......we are on to you!!!!!

I JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THIS IS A HUGE SCAM i CALLED THE FBI THE BANK AND THEY ARE ALL AWARE OF THIS AND TRYING TO COME TO AND END PLEASE DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION TO THESE MEN!!!!!!!!

the same thing happened to me, but i was googling while he talked. I read all of the above, and he tried so hard to convinse me. I said, check or you can keep it. he said you don't want $7000.00 I said listen to me "DO NOT CALL MY NUMBER AGAIN! "FIND YOURSELF A REAL [***] THAT WILL  FALL FOR YOUR SCAM'! I WORK FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND I'M TRACING THIS CALL, he said i will never call you again. my goodness how much more deciet?????

Yes they say its on the up an up but they keep calling and I still get no answer from other phone. I think the government needs to address this because they call from this number 114692869841 if u notice there is one extra number in the phone number.  This means its out of the country. So don't EVER believe anything they say when it comes to us getting money. TAKE THIS ADVICE.  Thank u. Sue

They just tried to get me with the 7000 dollar grant! good thing i goggle this 202 621 0436 number and read all these complaints! I almost fell for it! dull I neva fall for these scamswho i look like boo boo the fool!!! lmao
these people tried to get on dec 5, 2012 and im all ready doing bad! lol! im glad i didnt fall for thank god for goggle!!!!!

i also received a call stating i had won a government grant for $7000 all i had to do was call this number 202-621-0436 when i called no one answered. " boo hoo", i was going to let them have it for trying to scam people out of money.

I also got a call from (202) 621 0436 he said his name was Mathew Walfsion spelled it out for me and everything. He said I was selected because I pay my bills on time. He said the federal goverment gives selects 17000 people to give 7000 dollars to every year in different states. He said I could receive the money in cash if I gave 280$ but I had to call OUTSIDE of the store so he could give me his information. I at first thought it was a legitament call cause he sounded so convincing then I looked online and found this.

Please send any calls like this to the Homeland security so they can start doing something about this SCAM!!! when someone calls you and states you are to receive any amount of money from the U.S. Government in a form of a grant its a scam! the number that called me was 202-621-0436!

Got a phone call just yesterday 12/18/12 from 000-000-00 , I answered it and a guy that I could not understand said that I won a grant, and I could pick my money up in 1/2 hr if I called 1-202-621-0436. and gave code SM584 to his grant supervisor. I did not call and after reading all of these, am GLAD of that. I have been taken from a dating site before, so am glad , I have learned something

I received a call from this #2026210436. I gave my info when I called back with the lady, Mary Johnson, told me she wad too busy and hung on me. I didn't follow my firsy instinct.

I know our government is screwed up but I doubt they would stoop so low as to contract a bunch of sand [***] to peddle money. Funny thing is after playing along til the end and then "SLAMMING" them, they actually called me back and told me to go screw myself. ROFLMFAO

Got that call all that was reported by the other people the202 621. 0436 but they added that if I didn't do it the goverment would think I'm hidding something and basicly come after me. I told them to bring help he would need it
