Yup just got a call from these people asked to call the same number then was asked if my information was correct they only asked about my address and phone number was givin a code to give when I called it just sends absurd that everyone that I heard was broken English speaking foreigners was offered 7k government Grant the girl sounded like a part Spanish part Egyptian woman and she had to constantly go over everything at least 3 times just do I could understand her but ain't no way ill call that fracking number already had a while box of checks stolen from the mail route right out of the dang postoffice they spent 20k of money that I didn't even have tsk tsk shame on these people

WOW!!! I got a call yesterday and the woman hung up when my address was incorrect. A gentleman called today with a different address for me which was also incorrect. they were both previous addresses. I humored this guy and listened. I was given a conformation number and a telephone number in which to call and collect. When I called back they wanted 290.00 refundable...Yeah ok. I have better things to do with my money than loose it to [***].

This # was 202-621-0786. They said i won a grant for 9,399 dollars in a grant from the  U.S. Gov . Dont think so. All they need is 200.00  HA! HA!

I got a call from a guy with a heavy accent from an unknown #. Told me I got $1000 grant and to call 202-621-0436. So I did just to see if this was legit. And to have them stop calling me to be honest. So I called and frank Anderson was the guy I talked to. Accent as well. And he said it was 7000$ and then he was stating all this stuff and I asked if it was real and legit bye said it was because he didn't want to make trouble for me or whatever his reason was. Then he said I need to go to Walmart at a money grant place. To call him before I Get in the store and he would stay on line with me until I get my money in my hands. And that it would b cash. Also I would need to bring i.d and $290 for some tax thing but I would receive it back with the $7000. He told me to call him when I am going and no rush. But I don't think im gonna call back. But I am wondering what if its actually real and I'm walking away from $7000 ....?

I just received a phone call from this indian fellow claiming that my name and phone # (work # by the way!) had been randomly selected to receive a $7000 US Government Grant to use in any way in which I chose, because I am a good US citizen, no bankruptcies, good tax payer, etc... I asked what kind of grant and he couldn't tell me, just that I needed to use it to do good for myself or my family and my government.  Gave me a confirmation code # and 202-621-0436 and then asked if I wanted to be paid in cash (Western Union), bank or credit card, or direct deposit into my bank account.  I said Western Union, and could tell the guy was frustrated that I didn't give him my bank card, or account information and numbers.  He said I had to immediately call the # he gave me and give them the confirmation code # he gave me, in order to claim the money.  Huge ridiculous scam!!

hi, this is troy calling from washington DC...and the reason i am calling you is to give u congratulation call about you getting selected to receive $7000.00...from grant US department......same-thing happened to me as all of these ppl........they are frkin liars..he even asked me my age lol.........bashed them up...........report it..never give ur personal information...........be aware people!!!!!!!!!!

They are fake callers.............identity theft.....be aware of them

I have received numerous calls from this number by someone who is obviously not American and they state that the government has chosen me to receive a grant of 7 or 8000 dollars, they always want my credit card or bank account numbers which I refused every time to give them and they tell me that I can pick up the money at a western union near me.

this number just called me today and said i got 7,000 grant and all i had to do is send 280.00 to a bank to make shere it was me and they will send back 280.00 with my 7,000 i almost did it but i called the police and they told me it was a scam. i called the same guy back and gave hem pice of my mind.

YUP GOT THE SAME CALL FROM TROY. WAS ACTUALLY ON MY WAY TO W.U. TIL I GOOGLED THE NUMBER. I HAD BEEN APPLYING FOR SCHOOLS. THOUGHT I WAS GETTING SOME GOOD HELP

I just received a call them 7/21/13. They say I had been granted $7000 because my name and number  was picked by the government .they wanted me to go and pick the cash up at a Western Union but said I had to have $280 before I received a $7000 he was so desperate for the $280 he told me to come up with it somehow he said I could maybe borrow it from the neighbors  lol so I said okay let me see what I can do I hung up. I already knew it was a scam but I look it up on internet anyway and found you guys comments about it .so I call them back and ask them could they take the money out the grant he goes on stumbling over his words and said they can't take it out then he said I could come up with any time its no deadline  then he tells me I can call anytime he and that he will always answer lol yeah right why did I waste my time

see the problem comes in when they call people who work for the NSA haha yea this is fake people

I received a call from a gentleman from India most likely saying i had been selected to receive 7000 dollars in a federal grant based on a demographic study of my area along with 1500 other people. All I had to do was call (202)621-0436 with my approval id  and speak to the manager then the manager would walk me through the process and even stay on the line with me until I received the grant plus the $280 processing fee that they wanted me to pay through Western Union and that the whole process would only take 10 minutes. Glad I didn't fall for that scam, no one gets something for nothing especially $7000.

Received call from someone who states the they are from the government to offer grants.

I got a call and asked if it costed anything to get at western union and they said maybe 9 or 10 dollars wow.  I called but they never answered for about 5 or 6 times then got an answer but they said banks closed so have to call back tomorrow wow.  Thought would google and saw these comments. Am so glad they said it was too late today.

i just called the number and cursed them out and told them to get a job and he started cursing me back!!!!l lol i told him stop trying to scam Americans we got our own damn children to feed and my husband works in homeland security and he said he don't f*****g care and i told him he called the wrong one he tried to act like that was his cell phone and no company # . What a freaking scam!!!!!!!!! i would love to meet these ppl in person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so if you work there for this company and your reading this shove it. and you can always coment and see me !!!! oh, thats right your probally not in america and cant get a green card stupid ppl
