Received text from mark@XanProperties.com, asking for details of my timeshare, saying he wanted to make a cash offer.

We got it in Cleveland...and we are trying to report this.

I got the same message today.  I knew it was spam, but now after checking out the website, I agree with you that it is probably a more sinister scam!  I went to the website to ask to be removed from their spam texts, but when I click "continue" it takes you to some site with other links.  This is very frustrating!

If you try to call the 800 number listed in his registar data above it goes to some chat line thing.  Doubt his address is correct either.  Someone could get his domains taken away for not keeping his info valid.

I don't know the scam but I am not calling him.  I would call him on the 800 listed on his domain but I got an offer to talk to women there!

I got the text too.  Looked 'em up and found you.  So many deadbeats out there.  They will get what's due to them, what goes around, comes around.  I am placing a hex on them as I write.  

I'm a Realtor and doing business is hard enough without these low lifes.  I seem to get a lot of this when I post (against my better judgment) on Craigs List.  I'm done with Craigs.

I am a realtor on Long Island (New York for the uninformed).  have been for 25 years. I too received a text.  figured it was some sort of scam, but how do these idiots plan on making money??  Only other idiots would give a deed without cash in hand.........

Okay, I am another real estate broker who is getting calls from folks around the country who have placed property for sale postings on craigslist.  These folks get a text to the effect that someone is prepared to make a cash offer on their property.  When the folks go on to the website, my phone number appears !
The only good thing is that I am preventing dozens of folks from going to a vulture buyer and will be happy to continue to help as long as this outfit puts my number on their web site.

Got same text message # 67553.  Thanks for the heads up on this scam.  Our house was also listed on Craigslists.

Realtor from Ohio, just received a similar text to those listed above from 67553.  I feel sorry for anyone that falls for this scam and provides information to these people.  Glad I looked it up.
In my local market, there was recently a scam involving an unsuspecting prospective tenant that mailed a deposit check (sight unseen) to a party posing as a real estate broker who was offering a home for lease. The property was being advertised for lease on Craigslist, without authorization of the Owner or consent of the Agent. This crook took $1,000 of this vicitm's hard earned cash to hold a property that was not even available for lease, only for sale.
Take caution in the information that you provide to any party, know which questions to ask and be vigilant to protect the interests of your client.

Getting multiple texts trying to drive you to a website.  It's definitely SPAM but how do we stop the texting from them???

I just received a similar text from 10958 asking me to provide info at jpproperties.com, no idea how they got my cell number

Have been getting this text on my phone for a few days I don't know who theses people think they are but they are ruining the mans name.

Apparently they are still at it. I received a text at 5:08am this morning. I am a Realtor and just posting a property to craigslist yesterday. Thanks for the heads up.

Jgproperties.com isn't real. Please stop texting me! My husband will not be so nice if you continue to harass us.
