Got a call this morning from this number, answer machine came on but they didn't leave a message.  The ID said Announcement.

Received call from 206-496-0929 with caller ID of :  Annoucement. (this is the way it was spelled).  Of course, I don't answer 75% of my calls because of scammers.  I would like to thank the Feds for the DNC List......like everything else they do, it won't work!

The Do Not Call List is as much as a fraud as the politicians, that used tax payer money, to waste time setting this up. As with everything else they have their finger in, it is a failure.

4 more calls to report, quite the variety of nonsense names and numbers, most being new to my rotation of annoyance.  And I love getting early morning calls almost every day too:

Numerous calls since October.  Scam for sure as they hang up as soon as answering machine comes on.  Do not want to leave information that could be used against them in court if they get caught.  Would be nice if they were caught, would it not?  Thieves have no respect for the do not call list remember.  They are no different than the door thieves over the holidays.  The calls stopped right before Christmas and started back an hour ago.  Sigh.  Here I thought they gave up, silly me.

Still waiting for that 'ANNOUCEMENT' .....(That's the spelling as shown on Caller ID, is this a clue that this is not an English speaking scam. Is that you China? )

Never push 1 to get off the list or get a person.  We did that and we got even more calls from them because they know it's a legitimate number.  I just put in complaints to the no calls lists and hope they get enough to go after them.  This one let my phone ring a very long time and my machine didn't pick up.

Called back recording disconnected no# not in service

called today, came in as "Announcement"  Gave options to press 1 for discontinued calls.  Supposedly offering FREE SECURITY SETUP FOR YOUR HOME.  FREE

Reading this forum I get the impression this company is in to roto-call big time.  I've used up all my call blocking on my Panasonic Phone so I will take the advice of one of the writers and purchase a Digitone Call Blocker.  I remember when I was a kid (back in the 50ties) we would get these sales calls about the time we sat down to eat. Mom and Dad would get so mad. I have kept a log on all telemarketer calls (since November) and will start reporting them.  I'm interested in finding out if it does any good.  Almost all of you says it won't.

ANNOUNCEMENT. As soon as I see an area code that begins 20x, I don't pick up the call.

When they called my house yesterday, it came up "ANNOUNCEMENT" on our caller ID. I didn't answer the call. So I let the answering machine get it & when the machine picked up the call,they hung up almost immediately.

Well apparently the number has been re-connected cause I just got a call from it this afternoon.  Didn't pickup; never do on any number I don't know.

I have gotten the "FBI home breakin" robocall FOUR TIMES today, once while I was still asleep! Isn't there a law against phone harassment? I'm on the "do-not-call" list! I have only an ordinary land-line phone and no way to know who is calling or from what number.

Call received ll:35, apr. 9th, from 1206 496 0926 from "ANNOUNCEMENT".  I did not answer this call as I do not answer calls with  an unfamiliar number.
