- Retiree replies to fed upThis happened to us last week -- the phone rang -- callerID showed it was (our name) and gave our phone number. Don't ask me why I answered it -- I knew it could not have come from us! I hung up as soon as I realized it was a telemarketer.
- Mouse13 days since the last call from this number. Not home today to talk to them, but assume they're still wanting to sell Medic Alerts to people who wouldn't touch their product with a 500-foot pole. Silly.

- Kathy S.The caller was offering a medical alert system after stating I "was referred by another party." I started getting these particular calls after inquiring about such a system for my in-laws. I report them every time to the FCC, but this time for some reason I decided to have fun. I told "Mike" that I was not a senior and in good health but had a really bad cold and could my use of Sudafed qualify me for such a system. I grilled him on who it was that referred me since they might be concerned about my overuse of Sudafed since I had a really bad cold (I kid you not, I told him this 6 times). He kept trying to tell me how I might have gotten on their list (Medication - no; hospitalization - no; friends - sadly no). After keeping the poor guy on the phone for ten minutes I finally caved and told him I was just playing with him since I knew they would keep calling. Wonder if this will work? :D

- GusHung up on it at 1110 am PDT. People posting saying DNC is no good and not doing anything are obviously pretty dense people. If you do not report it to the FCC then they can not track them and hopefully catch them. CROOKS change the numbers when they think the feds are zeroing in on them or every month. That is to avoid being caught. CROOKS do not abide by the DNC rules because they are not marketers -- they are thieves. So, you who post, grow up and get real about what you have in your life. Bad guys are after you and your money, they abide by no laws, this number is out of New York, but they have come from almost every state the past couple of years for this med alert scam. If you really want to help: report the number to the FCC and warn the elderly and impaired: NEVER answer these calls and NEVER give anyone any information if they call you. Those are the ones they want to sucker in. Answering the phone guarantees you will get more phone calls -- so if you think you are being "smart" doing that, you are not.
- Dave replies to john1234Well lookie here...another ignorant Republican [***] talking out his ass...so typical. Who signed the DNC into Law? huh.....George W. Bush. So please [***], tell us all again how it's set up to get Democrats elected. LMAO....what a rube
