The caller, New York ( displayed as ID on our phone.), called us @13:41.10/21/2014. Many people reported to www.800notes.com since 09/02 2014. Some reported that government DNC  ( Do not call ) registration did not do anything to this unwanted number. Some said It was from NDC ( national Democratic Committee ) called people.
I missed the call, I don't know who called, but when I returned calls twice. This unwanted number is not in services.
I will report to FTC & FCC. FCC can find out who made the call & fine them for 4100,000.00 to $200,000.0 0 USD.
This morning, I receive call from 607739-8700, it claimed they are IRS & filed suit against us. Bot numbers are false.

We got a call from this number today at 12:37 pm. The last time they called was on 18 Sept 2014. This time the call was blocked by our call blocker which, due to numerous such calls, now blocks all calls from this area code. Ten minutes later we got a call from 212-662-8642, which was also blocked. When I called both numbers back (our caller ID is blocked by default on all outgoing calls) I heard a recording stating "The number you dialed is not in service." I highly recommend a call blocker to avoid such annoying calls.

I got a call also from this 212-226-1326. I suggest calling the phone company and complain, the FCC also. It is a good chance to practice effective profanity ... blow off a little steam at the most ineffective government I have seem in 50 [***]" years!

As many have reported the government will not do anything with telemarketers that use the DNC list to call us. I'm on the DNC list but have received at least 12 calls in the last few months from telemarketers from 212-662-XXXX numbers. If everyone that receives calls from telemarketers would go to the DNC list and add the telemarketers number that called in a few months they would be overwhelmed with calls from other telemarketers. Try it. It's easy. You can add 3 numbers and it takes less than a minute. Don't worry about the government doing anything to you. If they do nothing about the real crooks you are safe. Imagine millions of telemarketers added to the DNC list. Revenge is  sweet!!!

"The caller, NEW YORK ( displayed on our phone as ID.),  called us  on 08/01/2014, but I forget the time.  It also called us on 10/21/2013, 11:56,A.M.). It called as again today, @ 14:20. 11/21/2014. When I returned the call. The  lady message  only  1 sentence:" The number you dialed is not in service.", then it hung me up.
It also called us  by 212-662-1326 10/21/14.),212-260-1633 ( 11/11/14.)& 212-660-9867.  One time was a message & claim the caller is IRS .According www.800notes.com above it called hundreds  people since 09/30/2014.

I found a free robocall blocker on the web.  I put it on my phone on December 1st.  I've gotten only one robo-call since.  Yay!

First question: IF you did not recognize the number then why did you answer the phone?   When you do all you have done is to confirm for them that your number is a viable, working number and they WILL  continue to call you, plus sell your number to other scumbags.   Oh yeah, that Do Not Call list doesn't work any better than our government.

Thought for the day:  What IF NO ONE answered their calls?  Would they finally have to give up and go out of business?   Hope so.  PS/ our government's DO NOT CALL list is a joke too.  It works no better than our government does.  Have a great day.

PS / by using this method I now receive less than  1 or 2 calls daily, sometimes NONE !
