Yup, I thought it was to good to be true. My friend was in the same situation with a person named ANITA MEADE. Pretty much the exact phrasing everyone else put up.

Hello. Do you know if this so-called Dav Morris is impersonating as a Rev and has a wife name Susan. The reason why I am asking is because there's an ad on craigslist for a 1bd apartment (luxurious) for $600/m. They are claiming that they are Christians and are renting out the apartment for the amount listed above because it's an act of kindness through God. The only way of contact is via email when i asked for a telephone number. Deep down I know that it's a scheme of some sort. Location of apartment, Amount asking for rental, and they have sent me an email with pictures of the apartment and doesn't look like the same apartment as listed in the ad. Susan emailed me an application w/only simple questions nothing of importance like my SS# and such. I did fill it out with a fake name and address and she replied back w/Rental Approval...meaning i got the place. All i need to do is Western Union $600.00 for the rent. hahahahaha.. I may be Hawaiian but I am not dumb.

He tried the same thing on me with the apartment in Honolulu just now!  I only googled his name five minutes  ago because it seemed like a scam to me, too.  I knew it was too good to be true and of course, it was.  Beware of this person, he hides behind a guise of christianity and it's despicable.  Someone put this person where he can no longer prey on the innocent.

Just got a call from this number and talked to a person speaking a foreign language I don't understand. Told him he called the wrong number and hung up. Rediculous!

I got scammed by this guy. Watch out for this man - he claims he has a place to rent out in the city:

He is using the same exact description of himself as you guys have displayed on this  thread.

But when I went out to look for the apartment, the doorman and the property manager did not recognize him at all.

Watch out people.

"Adelphi" is a neighborhood area north of Hyattsville, but Adelphi isn't incorporated and doesn't have a post office or anything. You can Google it.

I kept thinking...  Far too cheap for this neighborhood.  Most 1 Bedrooms in this building go for $1400 and up.  
That and the fact that the pictures just didn't add up with the layout of the actual building at said address.  Windows gave it away.
