They called my cell phone today claiming a restraining order. It was just an automated message. Had a relative call the number back, since I was driving and couldn't write down the "affidavit" number. The relative was given options, but no one answered in person.

It freaked me out for sure, but was 100% sure no one would be filing any sort of complaint like that against me. We are going to report the number to our local police dept. and hopefully they will take some sort of action.

Thanks to the others that posted to confirm my suspicions. People/companies like this should be the ones in court, not the ones calling us to show up in court.

Everything I have read on this sitre is absolutely true and therfor no need for me to repeat it all.  I did file a complaint with the FTC - not an easy matter - but done.  I intend to hunt these people down and serve my own warrant.  If anybody has an actual address, I would appreciate knowing it.  I am an attorney, and this thing is ripe for a huge suit.

I want to thank all of you who took the time to post on this site. You have saved me from a restless nights sleep and most likely a call to my attorney and making a fool of myself. Received this same message on my voice mail this afternoon. Its a brand new phone number and although Ive gotten a number of calls for previous owners I still panicked over the content of the message. They never mentioned me by name but just left the threatening recording. I hope this site helps before anyone falls into their trap....This is a real Good Luck to you all!

It all makes me crazy!  I too have received voicemails both automated (today) and last week from a special investigator at ______ organization (at work & home).  I do not have outstanding debt & any debt I own is paid back. Even though I know this I somehow get very upset listening to these calls.  I do not know how someone can call you and lie to get $ that is not owed.  I'm a professional business person and struggle to compose myself everry time this happens. So far no warrants, no orders, no court dates or police restraining me........from what I do not know.  I do not know what these people are or what the he.. is going on - but I do know it's a crock of sh...

i recieve a message to call the number 570-983-0544, and that im a respondent and i had a restraining order file against me and when i called all i got was  music played and no oned ever pick up

A dear friend received a threating phone call from Central Process Services, you will be reported to our Attorney General!! How dare your firm scam people!!

I received this call stating they are from central process service and saying I owe money from a payday loan. When I ask the lady, her name ms. Burton , who was trying g to sue me she could not tell me the exact company and she just said that they work with all this payday loan co. She states I owe about $1000 and if I settle now I only have to pay around $503.00. I never took a payday that much. I have done payday loan and I always pay them. What I'm wondering about is if this loan company has my acct why don't they just take the money I owe. This is really freaking me out. They also said I have 3 days to pay or else I will be serve with a subpoena and have to settle this in court. This has never happen to me before. Why are there people do this for a living...I don't know how they can sleep at night knowing they are lying and harassing people. This people are sick. I'm waiting after 3-4 days see if I get subpoena and then I will believe this is real.

I recieved sseveral calls from this number. Only they are alling for someone else. SO I ignored it at first-but now they keep calling. Thankfully I looked up the number because I was about to call-because I was under the impression that this was from a police department because that is what the first message lead me to believe.
So I will continue to ignore the calls and report it to the police.

I recieved a called from this number, the person said their name was Special Investigator Charles Bentley with a the case # G11A-2375, that I need to contact them immediately, the message also stated that this was for a restraining order.  I'm not sure how they got my number, but really wish they would stop calling.

The caller stated there was action against us. Tried call back and nothing.

I got a call from a Brandon Jones saying he was an investigator and that somebody filed a complaint against me. I called the number back and was on hold so I got tired of waiting and hung up. I researched the number to find it came from PA. I dont owe anybody from that state. Well it kept eating at me who it was so i googled the name and found the number. As I clicked on the siteI found this site and found out its all a scam. I think the police should get involved with this matter.

This place is not legal.  I work for attorneys and part of their practice is collections.  When they called my husband, I had a lot of fun with them.  I knew the questions to ask and I knew what was required (what they have to supply to me) to "collect".

PLEASE EVERYONE - DO NOT SEND THESE PEOPLE MONEY!  THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO YOU!  THEY ARE NOTHING BUT FRAUDS.

They called and said there was a complaint against my husband and i had to call this number. Si  I called it and they said we took out a pay day loan and i told them we did not. She called me a liar. I am in the process of getting stuff together to file bankruptcy and I told he as soon as it starts my lawyer will contact her . She said we cant file against them they will not allow it  , i told her then show up at court and fight against until then , Don't call again. These people are rude and use lies to get money and info !

I received a call 3 October from a African Amerian Female - Susan Bakers - who sound very unprofessonal on the phone - stating same info as mention in previous replies. These individuals need serious help for sure. Please do not respond. They need to call DAYSTAR for prayer and counseling.

I received the EXACT SAME call today- I missed a call and was left a voicemail by Miss Susan Bakers - obviously reading a "script" stated she was a "special investigator" stated that she was calling regarding a "complaint that was filed against me" then listed my "case number" and then followed a few moments of silence before she stated that there was "also" a number listed in my file that I MUST call immediately and listed the 570-983-0544 and that I needed to forward this info to my attorney and one of us must call in 24-48 hours. THEN SHE HAD THE AUDACITY to say that this was regarding a Restraining order and that I must appear in court.

I hadn't had time to look this up and so I called the number and after 5-6 minutes of elevator music a man came on the phone and asked my "case number" i gave him the info and he proceeded to tell me that I owed over $900 on a payday loan.. I've NEVER ONCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE had any kind of loan other than 2 cars and a mortgage loan.... Told them send me my summons and we'll see you in court..... I don't know if you should call and let them know you're onto their game so they will leave you alone or if you should just ignore them all together... I guess only time will tell...

I recieved a call today same thing I took a loan for $400 and now i have to pay $1,000 and the put a restraing order and I have to go to court becuase I took  loan for Pay Day Loans .. (which its against the law in new Jersey) they gave me  # 800-729-3295 I called them and they have no ideas what I was talkking about they stated they are a fraud!! the person that calle dme was from 570-983-0544
