    Same story as everyone else.  I got a call from this number and a recording massacred my name and informed me, who have never been arrested or charged with anything by the way, that there was a case involving a restraining order against me and I had to respond within 24 hours.  I have gotten calls like this before, so I knew it was a complete bs scheme.  I pressed '1' to speak with a representative, but 8.5 mins of music later, the line disconnected itself.   So, needless to say, this number is a total scam and the first thing to do is call the local authorities so that anyone else in your area can be aware of the threat.

    I received a message from this number  with an affidavit number from an apparent legal investigation. No one picks up the phone and when someone finally did, they hung up on me. I live on the west coast and this number is in Pennsylvania.

    I received a call today stated that they were from the law office and they want to send me affidavit concerning a loan. I didn't return the call because it sounds like a scam and I don't owed any money. I am afraid that the payday companies are given out information to these people when you applied for loan. The companies stated that the personal information is secured. It may be wonder how these people get your personal information and call with a threat.

    WTF
    I just got a call from a 720-253-1291 from the Central Processing Services.. stating that his name is Walter White. From reading the previous posts, it seems that this is pretty common. I know there is a debt or 2 out there tied to my name, but this guys lacked professionalism when calling my cell phone while at work!

    I also received a phone call from this number.  I have received numerous calls from them in the past, but I never answered them.  I called the number back and a recording came on saying the number was temporarily out of service.  Guess they aren't "collecting" enough to pay their phone bill, eh?  I've put this number on my reject list and will automatically go to voice mail.  GOOD LUCK....to them.  LOL

    I just got a call from a 321-420-1810 from the Central Processing Services.. stating that his name is Walter White. He leaves a different number to call him back (716-253-6091); from reading these posts, it seems that this is pretty common. I know there are some debts tied to my name, but this guy lacked professionalism when calling and keeps continuously calling my work #!

    Repeated calls from this number. Online complaints from people saying they've been given vague information about a lawsuit against them. I've not answered these calls so I won't get caught up in their scam, but I want to report them so they will be stopped.

    Got a call from this number didn't answer it as I was too busy looking up the comments everyone so kindly put out here. I figured it was a scam.
    I got this information from another site. If you get a call from someone claiming you owe money, ask for a debt validation letter.

    Please provide me with the following:
    1.    What the money you say is owed;
    2.    Explain and show me how you calculated what you say is owed;
    3.    Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say is owed;
    4.    Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable;
    5.    Identify the original creditor;
    6.    Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account;
    7.    Show me that you are licensed to collect insert (your state);
    8.    Provide me with your license numbers and registered agent including your agent for service of process.
    In addition, if your office has reported invalidated information to any of the three major Credit Bureau’s (Equifax, Experian or TransUnion) this action might constitute fraud under both Federal and Ohio laws regarding debt collection practices. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found on any of my credit reports by your company or the company that you represent I will not hesitate in bringing legal action against you for the following:
    A.    Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act
    B.    Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
    C.    Defamation of Character
    If your office is able to provide the proper documentation as requested above, I will require at least 30 days in which to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease and desist.
    Also during this validation period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with my legal counsel for suit. This includes any listing any information to a credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated or verifying an account as accurate when in fact there is no provided proof that it is.
    If your offices fail to respond to this validation request within 30 days from the date of your receipt, all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and a copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately.
    I would also like to request, in writing, that no telephone contact be made by your offices to my home or to my place of employment. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls and calls or correspondence sent to or with any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. All future communications with me MUST be done in writing and sent to the address noted in this letter by USPS.
    It would be advisable that you assure that your records are in order before I am forced to take legal action. This is an attempt to correct your records and any information obtained shall be used for that purpose.
    As a final matter I require verification from you that this is in fact an actual attorney’s office.  In your next communication please provide me with written documentation of the fact that you are a duly licensed attorney, including but not limited to a state bar identification number as well as documentation that you are authorized to practice law in the State of (your state).
    This usually stops them cold.

    Te call consisted of dead air and a recorded 'goodbye' after I answered with the name of a law firm. I am just assuming that there were just too many calls for their operators to handle at the moment, not that they screen based on the way it was answered, but these scammers keep getting more and more tech so ... who knows! :)

    Got the robo call and pressed 1 to reach a live person.  "Steve Brooks" explained that he was with GE Home Security.  I asked if he was employed by GE.  He replied "yes in the promotions department."  He told me they were targeting
    seniors, etc.

    I told "Steve" that I wanted to check further the company and he suggested I look up Monitronics which is their
    monitoring company.  He gave me a call back number of 714-418-6834.....so if any of you are on the Do Not Call
    Registry and get a call from these people, you can just call "Steve" at the 714 number.....he answers it.  Let him know
    how you feel about the invasion of privacy and his company's disregard for the law.
