I received a call from this same number( 570-983-0544) on my job. I have never heard of this company. I called back and they said this was a call wanting to receive money for a Pay Day Loan. The rep said I owed almost 1,000.00 but she could work a settlement deal of around 425.00 what type of mess is this, why would you except less than 1/2 0f the dept. Also told me she needed my credit card information on file..this has to stop. I was happy to see that I was not the only person that this was happening to...someone please stop these companies form doing this. In this world and in these times people don't have time for this nonsence.

Yes this is a scam to get personal information from you. They make up the story about somone filing a caim against you or a family member in  an attempt to get them to call back and give up the information. People are more willing to give information over the phone to someone they call back than to someone who calls them. so the story about the restraining order is usedto get the person to call them back.

Got same call  . Going to call a lawer an go from there.

I called them back today after reading all of this, was hung up on twice after trying to get a mailing address.  Finally got someone who said the mailing address is PO Box 245, Scranton, PA 18501 and that a guy named Paul George is in charge.  Not that I believe it's true, but let's see if this information helps anyone at all.  They would not give me a physical address.  I hate scammers!!

These people contacted my 76 year old mother and asked for me by my maiden name. They left a message stating that it was an investigator name James Jackson with a case  number and that I had 24 hours to contact them in regards to a restraining order. What kind of insanity is that? The police don't notify you of a restraining order until are handing it to you. These people are sick.

Got a message from this same number on my answering machine. Refered to my deceased husband of 12 years. Caller name is Steven Curry and instructs him to forward the following information: complaint being filed against you, you are a respondent and must appear. Provides an affidavid number and phone number 570-983-0544. Please forward this to your attorney to let the order show cause may contain a restraining order. You or your attorney will have 24 to 48 hours to apose this matter. Statue of Limitations is well expired and I am glad to see this is a bogus thing.

This number called my sisters phone.Left a message saying that his name was Davis Brown and he was a Detective saying I violated a retraining order and I need to call back in 48 hours with information with order to show cause! he said the case number was GGTT ugh that right there gave it away as a scam for me. But I called anyways and they left me on hold for 20 mins! So I hung up and Google the number sure [***] this number messes with everyone! That is bull that people can do that to other people. If you get the same call ignore it its bogus!

My dad got a call on his answering machine saying she was a special investigator and there was a complaint and restraining order against my brother....who doesn't live here anyhow.  I made some phone calls and even called the 1-570-983-0544 number and punched the 2 on the phone and sat for a few minutes and finally hung up.  Then got on line and looked up the number and found it is probably bogus.....besides restraining orders are usually hand delivered.....

I too got a call from them.  It was for a payday loan that I already paid off back in 2010.  The representative even got mad when I called them a collection agency.  She said, "This is a Litigation Processing Company".  I said whatever & I already paid this debt off to another bill collector who got me with the same crap you are saying now!

IT IS DEFINITELY JUST A COLLECTION AGENCY.

Just received a message to call Vicky Griffen at 570-983-054 next number hard to hear. The name of the company was difficult to hear also. They said I was going to have a court order,restraining order and complaints against me.  I called my husband and we both freaked. I am so smart! Went on the internet and typed in area code 570-983 attorneys and this popped up. What a relief! This is so not funny. It did take me awhile to dig up some of the info.

Someone called my office and then my cell phone. They say they are collecting an old debt. They don't know who the originator of the debt is or how to get in touch w/ them. BUT, they are going make arrangements for me to pay it off. I asked for paper work from whoever or whatever this debt originator is. They don't have any. No Proof!!! Are you kidding. I have filed a police report and reported this number to the FTC.

Received this same call this evening, but it went to my voicemail. It was from Sherise Bryant, Special Investigator, regarding a complaint filed against me. Apparently I was named in a court action and must appear. I was instructed to give this info to my attorney and I have 24 to 48 hrs to oppose the matter. The callback number is 570-983-0544. Then she had the nerve to say "Thank you and Good Luck".

But thank God for Google. I headed straight to Google right after listening to the message. This is so sad, but not that upsetting. It's not like I'm stupid enough to fork over any info or money to these people. I even give my cable company the 3rd degree when they try to charge me extra fees - so scammers get nowhere with me.

So now I'm rotfl. I have T-Mobile's Family Allowance and added the number to my blocked list. Hopefully this is the same number she called from.

I received a phone message from someone calling from this number and was also given a claim #.  Thankfully I looked up the number prior to returning the call.  
I have contacted my local police department and a complaint has been filed.  These people are harrassing other people.  
My advise to these people are to get REAL JOBS like the rest of us and pay your own damn bills instead of stealing from hard working individuals.  
If I receive another call from someone at this number; they will be refered to my  "claim number" which is GO GET FUC&$ED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just received one of these phone calls, I refuse to answer my phone if the caller ID shows a blocked or private number. This guy "Investigator William Green" left the same message with a Case #, I called it back, was placed on hold for 7 mins. a lady answered the phone "litigation" please hold. I cam across this  page while waiting for someone to answer the phone. Will be forwarding this to the Atty. General in Pennsylvania, I suggest you do the same. This was a land line, not a cell. Same number 570-983-0544 - One thing I do know, they cannot notify you via phone about a legal matter and restraining order, you must be served. That was the first red flag for me. Just wanted to post to help anyone else out that might get a phone call like this one.

Someone call my home when I was not there. My friend answered the phone and was told it was urgent I call 570-983-0544 with the Claim number they provided. I searched the number on the internet and it is a number from PA. When I called the phone number 570-983-0544 an automated attendant states...you have reached the offices of Central Process Services...if you are calling in regards to a restrained bank account or siezed assest press 1... if you are calling regardeing a message left advising you of a pending legal action or court order press 2...if want to settle a matter in lieu of court action press 3...if you know your parties extention press 4. I pressed 2 and was put on hold until the computer hung up on me.

Same message case number GKA52712 listen guys if a complaint was filed against you or a restraining order you will recieve a court order from your local Court house not a phony call from an 570 area code. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT FALL INTO TI

I just received the same voice mail from Robert Jordan, verbatum to all the posts above.  They actually didn't even have the right name though so I didn't freak out too much.  Do not call them back because they are full of it!
