I got the call from 570-983-0544 also about a  payday loan. It scared me to death also. I did reverse look up and got the same info that it was in Scranton, PA.  She actually gave me an extention # and every time I try to put it in when it says to do so, it keeps repeating the message. I told her I just got back from work from medical leave and she wanted me to fax a copy of my medical leave statement so that I could hold off of paying on my account until next Fri. Why would they need a copy of my medical leave statement for! LOL. I am glad I also saw the complaints on this and happy to know I am not the only one getting them.  So just be very careful.  She also said that they could send me verifications of my debt after I paid it, dont think so!

I got this call today. WTF??!! You're telling me that this has been going on since Febuary and nothing's been done? How hard is it to track this number and arrest these people?? Makes no sense to me. I wish people would just do there damn jobs!!

i received this call at my parents house asking for my husband claiming we would have an affidavit and a restraining order against him and have 24-48 hours to respond to the court.
I called back and was on eternal HOLD with nothing but elevator music... is it FAKE?

i got a call from these people (507-983-0544) advising me that me or my attorney have 24-48 hrs to call them back and that i have to come to court and that i have a restraining order against me. they called my home and cell number. i then called my sister and she called for me. we both got no response music kept playing for so long and then i got the prompt to leave a message. i played it smart i looked them up on the internet Central Process Services and i saw all the comments people were writing to advise others that this is a SCAM!!!!!!!. Just as someone stated a local officer would have to serve u sum papers stating the issue and when to appear in court. dont get caught up be smart and dont give your personal information over the phone!!!!

I just received a call from this number.  I called back and the woman that answered (Cindy Ward) said she could not give me a specific name for the company that I supposedly owed 564.00 dollars to.   She also said that if I didn't make a payment by the end of today that she couldn't stop the legal process from continuing and that my employer would be contacted and I would have to go to court.  She said I needed to contact my family members and friends to see if they would loan me the money to pay this today so that I wouldn't have to go to court.

I just recieve a call today saying that I would be arrested if I didn't respond the the call withing 24hrs and I called the number that was left and the music played forever. I got online and tried looking up the number and I ran into this. Thank God. This is ridiculous.

I get a call from the with the same message, then I called back and a lady told me I got a loan from Pay day Loan.com, of $400 and I never paid back so now I owe more than $500, so I told her I never get anything from that company, and she said she is very sorry but if they have my name, phone number, e-mail address and bank name I have to pay these debt. I tell her ok let me check my bank account and I will call yo back and she said ok you have to call back in less than 30 minutes because I will start the process against you if you don call back, and check my bank account printed the pages thah I need and then called them back but they never answer again, I stay in wait in the line for 13:12 min. then sent me to the voice mail, the I find this page, so Im glad this is only a scam!!!Thanks !!!

Received a recorded call- I consider this a threatening message.  Reported it to FTC as recommended above, https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov, with the following message:
"Recieved call saying that I needed to call 570-983-0544 regarding a restraining order against me, and was given reference no. A45Q-1045.  Web search turned up this: http:800notes.comPhone.aspx1-570-983-0544"

I got a call from Investigator William Green concerning a legal matter and that I only had 24 hours for me or my attorney to contact the 570-983-0544 number before a warrant would be issued.  So I called and I got Steven Curry. Steven informed me that I owed $600+ to a Payday loan company.  In the past I had used one of the loan companies, when I fell into hard times, but I was certain I had paid that off.  But feeling unsure about the issue, I went to walmart and got a prepaid visa card and made my first payment of $156.51.  I even received an email receipt from Velocity Payment Solutions show where I paid this money.  I have tried to call Central processing Services back several times and all I get is that elevator music...I got DUPPED!!! Im sure I will never see that money again........Lesson learned!!!!!! Damn Jerks!!!

We received an automatic message on our answering machine stating; someone has filed a compaint against you. The automatice call did leave a claim and affidavit numberl as well stated that the person that does not live at our number has been named a respondent in a court action and must appear. The message did state that the person they were calling for was under a restraining order. It left a return call back 507-983-0544 number?  When we tried calling this number we got "Central Processing Services" and then music plays forever.  I never got a person to answer.  I really only wanted to tell them not to call our house as the person they are looking/calling for is not us?  This has become very annoying as, we have gotten 2 call like this and if we were to find the person they are calling, it would be a waste of our time, just as trying to call this phone number back.

I also just received the same exact call.  They actually called my sister's house looking for me; when I called the number back; there was a brief automated message wtih some prompts. I waited on hold for about 10 minutes...music was playing and no one ever answered the phone.

This is about the 3rd or 4th time in about a year that I have received a call like this from various phone numbers.

We have had same thing happen, twice.  Two different company names and numbers.  I guessed it was a scam and that was confirmed when I got online and checked out number.  These are some sick freaky ass people doing this!!  Karma will get them in the end.  If I were you, I would call cops whenever you see them out there, especially if they are there longer than they should be.  People that dont live there dont just sit in their car.  Freaky, I know!

This happened to my husband, they actually called last Thursday, but I didnt get message till today.  Phone number 570-983-0544.  "Civil Investigation Unit".  Saying we had to respond 24-48 hours.  This was a recording, and they did not say their name.  They gave a file number, lol, dumb [***]!!  They said he had a complaint filed against him, and a restraining order.  OMG, they are so freaking [***]!!  I know from personal experience, via my best friend, filed a restraining order against her ex bf and he was served by a cop!!  Hello!!?  If this was legit, my husband would of been served by now.  Considering it was almost a week ago!  These people are damaged!!  They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!  This is a total SCAM!!
