I received the same message today. A man identified himself as William Green, special investigator and said that a complaint had been filed. Funny how they never mentioned who it was filed against. I had 24-48 hours to return call and that a restraining order had also been filed. I could give the info to my lawyer etc. basically what others are saying. I am smart enough to know that if there was a restraining order filed against me that a police officer would come to my home and serve me papers. These people need to get a real job and quit trying to scam others. I Did not call back and will give information to my lawyer if the harassment continues.

At 5:15 pm I was out and when I returned I found this same call as everyone is talking about they left a complaint number with the 24 hour spell and left this number 570-983-0544.  The special investigator was a David Parker.  What is it with these people I am also on the do not call list and I am still getting calls.  what gives.... I am caring for my 95 year old mother and I sure do not need a problem with the law.  I have never hurt anyone, why can't they leave people alone.

these people scared the mess out of me. they told me to go get a money card and send them some money. they said i owed 15,000, but for 147.25 he could hold off me being sued and going to court. i know i have never ran up a debt this high, are they talking about me? They didn't say debt, they sadi fraud....WHAT!!!!!!!

Voice mail says he is Investigator William Green. He is calling about an "action that is being filed against you". There is a restraining order Involved. Please call them and tell them who your attorney is.

He doesn't mention who he is calling,what company he represents and what the debt is or how much it is.

Omg I wish I could get ahold of thse ppl...I'm pretty sure its against the law to threaten ppl with false accusations to steal your money smh

They have called my job,mothers,house threating if they dont pay this for me im going to be sued and locked up.i called the number they gave her and the gave the case number G8Ch3243 and the man said the name is Amanda Mc Cartley

THESE PEOPLE THREATEN YOU AND HARASS YOU TO THE MAX. I ACTUALLY HAD AN ACCIDENT THEY HAD MY NERVES SO RACKED. THE NEED TO STOP CALLING.

First of all..do these people really know what a restraining order is...has nothing to do with paying a debt. Keep calling and threatening me with all kinds of legal mumble jumble. They refuse to send me anything in writing ..they just expect money over the phone. REALLY?

Report this person immediately to the PA Sheriff; 570.963.6719.  They are a scam.  They say you have a restraining order against you but they are actually trying to collect on old debt that has been settled or paid (ex. Citi Financial or Visa or a loan you took out).  They are currently going by the name of Centeral Processing Services but you cannot find them anywhere on the internet.  They will only be stopped by the law, so call the sheriff now.  If they call you more than once call your local police department as well (that is what the sheriff told me to do).  DO NOT give them any information or verify anything.  I was contacted by "special agent Kevin Smith."
By law you would be served if you were being taken to court.  Stop these people by reporting them.  Know you rights; by law if they are contacting you for debt they cannot do it under false pretenses.  They must send you written notification as well.  If that is not done with in 5 business days then you can counter sue them.

They also gave a bogus fax number of 440-756-7419

This is a scam...I just called the Federal Trades Commission and filed a complaint!!  Call them at 877-382-4357

I got a call from this same company yesterday, they left a voice mail on my phone at my job.  I am so sick of these people harrassing me at work.  I tell them it is against the law to call me at work but they continue.  If they keep calling me I will have to show my true colors.

They called me and gave me a bogus case number, they said that I have a huge debt that a bill was sent to some address I have never heard of. They were going to serve me at my place of work in one hour if I did not call this other number. I asked the guy for a website to verify his existence, and he said it's not his worry to tell me these things and vaerify him I needed to pay the bill. He insulted me and told me he is doing his job.

This is a scam I get these calls every 3-4 months same crud same thing - TOTAL SCAM

They try to threaten and such but they are a scam....wait till you get the guys from India calling you - they are even more fun - you can so mess with them!

i got the same call, they scared me to death,I looked up the phone number on line and saw all of these complaints ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i also called my bank and changed everything,,, just in case, what low lifes

I had 2 calls just today from these people. I was to call back 570-983-0544. They had me so stressed out!  I had my grandchildren with me, and was all I could do but cry!  Not only is this a problem, but I have gotten a call from an addition number, stating the same exact thing!  That number to call back was 704-464-0168.  How do we get this madness to stop.  Glad I read this post, as it has at least helped some.

Here is What I got. That he was a private investigator and that I had a no contact order against me. So here is what I want everyone to do that reads this Call this number for me 570-983-0544 and here is the claim number AMNI 2657 lets flood there lines with everyone calling on this same claim number. That should do the trick. Thanks in advance for the help.

Just got off the phone with my attorney...CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT ....WILLIAM GREEN calls unavailable telling me someone has filed a legal complaint against me ..i laughed oops!!! decided i would play he gave me an affidavit # & this call back # 570.983.0544 press #2 TIMOTHY BRONSWICH answered had the last 4 of my ssn ???? hmmmm???? I never verified it, he proceeded to tell me about a payday loan i never heard of???!!!  i stopped him by talking over him, he hung up so to be a "B" about it called back,  he answered again, again he hung up on me as by this time i was cursing him out. LOL he hung up on me again, i called again asked for a supervisor this time MARK WEST said he was a supervisor, i didnt even get a chance to say anything & he hung up on me. LOL my guess they have caller id & guess they got the message. You can't bull$@*t a B.Ser.  In the morning i will be reporting it to the Attorney General's office &  already contacted my local police department since they did threaten me. So all i can say to them, "WANNA PLAY" WUSSIES...HANGING UP ON A LADY LIKE THAT !!! LOL  DONT FALL FOR THIS BS!!!

I received a message on my answering machine on May 3, 2012. The message taled about a criminal complaint and gave ma a case number,asking me and/or my attorney to call back at 570-983-0544. When I returned the call I sat on hold for 30 minutes before going to this website & reading about the experience that oothers have had. I'm tossing the message.

My friend call me this morning frantic about a message he received on May 3 2012 informing him of a restraining order that was put on him.  The call was from a special investigator at AMNI and the phone number was 570.983.0544.  My friend has a lot of health issues - both physical and mental - and this thing really sent him for a loop.  I knew it was a scam as soon as he told me about it and I was able to calm him down and ease his mind.  Someone needs to put a restraining order on these people because they are truly abusers.   Thanks to all who posted to this site.

I have received this call several times.  I reported it to the Attorney General in our State.  His office advised me not to act on anything these people have told me.  I do not owe these people and do not intend to pay for something that I do not owe.

Report them to the FTC at:  https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov .  If enough people report them the FTC will shut them down.
