Do like I did I paid a visit to one of these low lifes and beat that [***] and the calls stopped

I Received a call from a Spoofed number: 702-505-9322 Caller ID say's Las Vegas, NV.  

Personally I think that if you are a respectable company, it should be against the law to Spoof your Phone Number and Caller ID.  Instantly makes me think they are being shady, and disreputable.

Because we have family in Las Vegas, I answered the call.  We actually live 2,000 miles away, in another state.  It was an automated call asking for a person that is not an immediate family member of mine.  I took the call, in case there was an emergency,  The woman identified herself, but gave no company name saying she needed to reach the unnamed person.  She said that my number was listed as a contact number for this person.  (Highly unlikely...the party they where calling for has had the same phone number for almost 20 years)  

I told them the person they are looking for lives in another state, and didn't they notice that when they dialed it?  The call was strange, and unexpected.  I explained how I was related and asked if there was something I could do, or if I could take a message for them.  (Keep in mind, I still have no idea who it is calling me, and still assuming it is a call from Las Vegas.  I was concerned that there was an emergency with one of their kids, or another family member.)  The woman was very vague.  I got her to give me her name, and she gave me this as her call back number.  I asked what it was in regards to, but she wouldn't say.  She hesitated to tell me the company from which she was calling.  She asked me to have this person contact her right away.

Now I haven't seen this person in 2 1/2 years, but they are the kind of respectable people that both work hard, and pay their bills.  I cannot imagine why a creditor would be calling for them...or calling me for them.  Either way, it is none of my business, and they don't need this company calling me for something that has nothing to do with me.  I will do my best to pass the info along.
