- Cici| 2 repliesI noticed on my wireless bill a charge for $9.99 from Cylon LLC. I checked on Google and it seems to be an advertising company. What's weird, of all things, I don't know how the heck I was subscribed to this through a text message if text messaging and web use are both blocked on all my phones! Those damn scammers!

- James| 1 replyI saw a charge for $121.00 on my credit card bill from a 1 800 331-0500 number. I was concerned about the charge and after reading the posts here I checked my ATT wireless bill.
It was in fact a legitimate charge from ATT Wireless for my automatic billing - Maj replies to JamesNice post
- KatieSomeone on youtube is telling cell phone owners to call this number to get their phone's cell phone code to unlock their cell.
Glad I did an internet search before calling. - HalleyCalled my cell phone and did not leave message.
- TaylorWe've just been billed 9.99 from m-Qube Inc. using the number 800-331-0500. Getting ready to call AT&T.

- Taylor| 1 replyI just called AT&T. They are issuing a full credit. But told me to be sure to read each text message that we receive because some of the scram messages that are being sent is worded in a way if you don't reply then they automatically sign you up for their service and change you for it. AT&T said to make sure that you read each message and just don't delete it. This charge was on my son's phone and we just found out that he was getting junk messages and that he had just been deleting them. So, now we have to make sure we read everyone of them or we may be charge. She also said that they couldn't be blocked.
- TaylorI just googled the number 1-800-331-0500 and the below link was listed. That's the number that showed up on my scam charge on my phone bill. Just be sure and read the automatic text messages that you receive from AT&T. Depending on how they are worded, if you don't reply and say "no" or "stop" then they will automatically sign you up for a service. The lady at AT&T told me to be sure and read each message because they can be worded differently and be sure to reply accordingly, but she fell to tell me that these messages were automatic messages from her own company - AT&T. She did say that there was no way to block them - I wonder why?

- sil replies to StarI just received a call from the 800 331-0500 on my cell, when I answered some lady said I needed to NOT answer my phone so that she could leave a message, when I asked who this was she just hung-up. Who are these people?
- MT replies to StarApparently, you get a text and if you open it, your account is billed for $9.99 -- or as in my case, this time it was $19.99!!!! I called the number and it was AT&T, but they said it's a back door way for companies to bill for a service that you haven't requested. They put a download block on my phone. If I want a ringtone to download, I just enter the code to confirm I want it. Nothing can be downloaded to my phone without my confirmation code now. They said this should stop the problem -- and they readily credited me the $19.99.
- Zachsta replies to StarThis is the number that appears next to the automatic billing for my AT&T iPhone account on my credit card statement. I have never received a call from it though.
- LauraThey charge you for every darn thing, don't they? I got a call too on my cell from this 800 number; they rang about 3 times and by the time I noticed it was ringing, they hung up. I better make note of the time and date in case they try to charge me money.
- LauraI just found out that they called all 4 of my cellphones at the same time. My son answered his in time and it was customer service asking for my husband. However, did they just use 4 minutes of my time looking for him, when they could have just called 1 or left a message at my home number? When I called back, they said they were experiencing heavy call volume. I'm at work - I don't have time to wait for them!
- RM replies to Chulaboy800 331 0500 is the customer service phone number at the top of your ATT bill. I just got charged 98.00 for 46 phone calls in one day for this number. I called ATT and told them I wanted a refund. I did not want to discuss it just a refund.
- say itSame thing happened to me but what I don't get is I have cingular and the 9.99 goes to cingular. I have to pay it to them, so why do they say they are not associated with these companies? If you don't know who they are then who the hell is collecting my 9.99 that I pay on my credit card to ATand T???

- Chamade replies to Robin Tolg, Esq.Hi Mr. Tolg,
Yes, that's a vexing and bothersome little scam. I am a businessman, not an attorney, but can easily a number of criteria for an action in Federal court. In the meantime, I plan to scrutinize bills here, ask as few friends and do a little research. Do you, by chance, have an idea where the corporate seat is located?
