(800)-331 0500 called my phone just a few moments ago.  I am reading here that it is from AT&T?  Well i just got AT&T service (over the internet, don't have service yet technically) and than the number called my still current cell phone number (which is still Verizon)... weird... no message was left.

I have found these weird numbers on my bill before and just assumed my son had made them and paid a few of them.  The last time, I called AT&T and they were supposed to remove the charges, however, my bill still reflects the charges they were supposed to take off, and now there are two new charges one for 19.99 and one for 9.99.  One charge is on my line and the other is on my son's line.  Neither have capabilty to download or text or even get on the internet.  I am ready to change carriers.  One of the charges was for Open Market, the other was for MX Telecom, 800-331-0500.

"they are crediting your account for the charges"

that is complete BS talk because these Greedy companies
do not want to give the COLD HARD CASH BACK!
you pretty much have to say...
Give me the CASH BACK or I file a Lawsuit
its that simple. A Lawsuit is the only thing they understand
    for CASH BACK!

    the number is from AT&T
    hmmmm... that is interesting.
I guess these Greedy companies try to scam as many
as possible hoping that most won't even notice it
and keep paying. what a crock.
That is alot of money to people who are barely getting by
as it is, counting every single Penny.
That 10 dollars could have bought more Food or more Gas.
could have bought the kids school snacks, lunch money etc.
Especially in this economy. it adds up too.
Companies must be getting desparate because I've noticed this kind
of thing happening all over with others too.
Its sad how these greedy desparate companies will sink so low
as to take Food right out of a school kids mouth for their
own dishonesty and greediness. Then want to "credit the account"
instead of giving back the CASH. Well that won't put Food on the
table, buy Gas or clothes will it?
These people are desparate, sad and pathetic.
Alot of companies are so close to going out of business
and they don't want anyone knowing about it so they try and
scam people to stay in business.

Well, I also got the text message: From ATT MSG: Your additional address has been modified for acct # ending in ****. If this was done in error call 800-331-0500 or 611 from your wireless. I immediately looked the number up and found this forum. After viewing these responses, I called 800-att-2020, then was switched to the wireless billing.  If you use your cell phone to access the internet or purchase something online through your cell, you may hit something that triggers automatic billing setup (which you are charged for the use of). However my case was simply a change in calling options, but since reading these posts, I requested parental block(online purchasing block) be turned on so there are no accidental charges. I'm happy with my results and wanted to pass them on to you.

Yeh! I received the charge on my att bill, but was under a different name;  Cylon LLC.  I believe it's an att scam/raquet, if you dont notice on our bills, att gets $$$, and if we do notice it, and call for a refund to att, and try to prevent it and going through this same song and dance every month they att try to sell you a blocker to keep this from happening again.  What a scam/raquet huh!!!

Cylon LLC: Alerts - Info Text 38146 appeared on my daughter's line.  I am trying to determine if she's at fault.  What service does this business provide?

You should not be charged for having a purchase blocker added to your mobile phone. If there is a charge, I believe, someone has spoken incorrectly. I am currently combatting a $9.99 per month charge on my son's mobile phone from Cylon LLC. This is not an AT&T scam, but, unfortunately, due to government regulation, we are required to let these charges be added. These companies change their names regularly to evade prosecution on scams.

I also have a 9.99 charge on my mobile phone bill this month from Predicto, and another 9.99 charge from Dada Ringtones.  I got texts from both of these places but just deleted them.  I never buy ringtones & don't have internet either.  I'm going to call my service provider (AT&T) to have them removed & a block put in place, too.

We have a multi-user plan so this may make us vulnerable in some way.

I am currently battling with Cylon LLC.  They say my son signed up through a web site for game cheat codes, but I am very skeptical about this.  Since he is a minor, they are not allowed to sign him up.  I was given a fax number by the company to have the charges reversed but to no avail.  I also was told they would cancel the "service" but I continue to receive the charge every month.  We may be going to court this time. Hope you have better luck!

I found the 8003310500 number on my Credit Card bill and I've confirmed that this is from AT&T and is my Cellular bill statement.  I've just matched back several months against my cell bill and all seems correct.

Check to see if you are auto-paying your cell bill via a credit card.

For anyone interested in reaching this company to have them quit charging you, you can call Mark Witt at 1-480-264-5000.  Be careful of Susan, she answers the phones.    They claim to be part of a company named Gamer Data.

The other phone numbers I located are 1-480-368-2585 - Jen was very helpful

1-888-351-6703 - goes into a call center, but only goes into a voice mail, no one seems to answer the phone number.
