On my day off, just trying to rest up for a long work week coming and I get one of these calls. At first the female (like everyone else's version) wanted to verify my information. She had my address wrong and instantly I know I had seen that address on a demo of a credit score company. Then she wanted the DOB, I said "Unless, I'm calling you and doing business with you - that's info that you will not get." She goes into her spill about needed to verify before she can tell me the "personal matter" that I should know. I said, "I pay my bills every month on time, so God knows I don't owe you or anybody." She was about to go on with her spill, but I cut her off and then she hung up. I called back, "Mr. Baptiste" answered... OM Father in Heaven.. for REAL! He said is this (MY NAME) I said it is but if you won't tell me why your calling - guess I'm not obligated to answer my phone, so I hung up. Do your best not to get upset about these folks, they are IRRELEVENT if you are paying your bills on time and doing the very BEST you can do. I count it as an attack plan designed to knock me off my foundation. I know every BILL is covered because GOD always has a PLAN A for me, a long as I don't go & try on my own to do a sorry-unwinnable plan b.  He has and is doing it for me, so I know GOD will do it for you. FPR is not the last word GOD is.

Mr. Dumpson keeps calling my cell phone number but refuses to provide any information regarding the call unless I verify my address which is NOT happening when I do not know what he may be calling about.  I have asked him repeatedly to send me any information by mail and if it applies to me I will respond accordingly.  However, he refuses.  I want these calls to stop immediately as he calls during the day while I am working and disrupts my work.

This  number 800-609-5666 is not a collection agency, it is criminal ring of scammers. today from this number  a woman says she is calling from NC Resources Division. It is not a debt collection,  They want your personal info ss and from another number yesterday , A different number I believe connected to the people who called today was pulling an Anti-virus scam trying to get access to my pc. be very careful,  Ebay got hacked not long ago that is when I started getting suspicious calls from various people, one group of people is saying we won a Caribian Cruise.  A different site is saying that it is all connected to a Criminal ring in India that has been going on for 10 years.

    Too Much Info
These people called and want your dob and ss# to collect a bill that is not owed in the first place and then tell you they can't send you a bill or a copy.  You just have to send them money.  I don't think so. And they don't give you an address of their company, a P.O. Box No.

They aren't calling me from this number, but when you finally get one of them on the phone they give you this number to return the call.  They claim you owe a bill but they cannot send you a copy of the bill and they give you a P.O. Box to send money to them.  Does that sound right?  The bill they are requesting, I paid over a year ago.  Now a year later they claim the company did not receive the payment.  Who waits a year to call you about a bill?  I haven't moved, my phone number has never changed.  They just don't sound like legitimate business people to me.

Have called numerous times. I finally decided to answer today. The guy wanted me to verify my name & address without telling me what company he was with. His name was Mr. Reardon, supposedly but for some reason I don't believe him. He was really rude when I told him he wasn't getting my name or any other info from me especially when he wouldn't tell me where he was calling from!

I am not a bill collector but I can tell you that original creditors never remove past due debt. It's called credit history. New creditors look at your credit history to determine if they will provide you a line of credit. If they were to remove the debt YOU defaulted on that would be FRAUD as your credit "history" wouldn't be accurate anymore, would it?

Received a call and was told it was First Point Collection and for me to call 877-240-9722.  I have all three credit bureau reports sitting here in front of me, and no where on any of the 3 bureaus (TransUnion, Experian and Equifax) does it list me owing to a First Point Collection.   I know who I owe, and this is not one of them.  SCAM!   Think I will ride down to the address listed as theirs in Greensboro - $10 says its a vacant lot!
