Spoofed number.

Did a quick look up on 800-955-7070, saw the notes so i thought it wouldn't hurt to answer and find out what's going on.  They hung up after I answered.  Will not be answering that number again.

This number has called under the guise of other numbers.  It is a credit card fraud scam and they ask to press 1 to be connected or press 2 and the offer will expire.  I pressed 2 and was put on hold and then connected to an indian accented man whom I told was committing a crime by calling.  They always just hang up and move on to the next potential victim.  I live in CT and our useless US Senators and Congressmen are more concerned with making names for themselves than by stopping these scammers.

Caller hung up when answering machined picked up. Figured it was a scam. I do not personally answer the phone, it becomes too aggrevating and the calls become more frequent.

Obvious scam.  They called on a landline whose number has never been given out to anyone.  We have a Capital One credit card but the phone number they have is not this one.

Scam, they will take your information and take your money. These people are criminals !!!

I know this is a scam.  I want to stop them from calling me.

My husband and I have not had debt since 2004, they called a landline owned by ME before my husband & I got married in 2002. We have NUMEROUS times sent requests to federal/state do not call registries but yet I get this one From Caller ID CPTL 1 FNC CRP 1-800-955-7070 :-(:-(:-(.

Could not get to the phone, and they left no message.  Nobody in this house has a Capital One card, anyway.  Blocked.

I just read that this is number is a third parth by capital nine . Is that not misleading to us as a customer And I have 3 cards with them . Ashley fraud happens all the time.

This number called my cell phone but left no message. I understand from reading the comments here that it's Capital One. I have no relationship with them and blocked their number.
