Has anybody else on here dealt with the 1-864-923-5511  number as well? Just received another message from them, this time asking when I was sending the next payment, when I never even sent a first. Must be losing track of people they're scamming

They just tried the samething to my bf then I got in the phone asked the badge number and that no charges can be filled for his daughter cutting her wrists because they took her phone. She needs a mental doctor if she even exists

the dads name is Kyle night is what they told me that's who I was talking to and I actually sent money because I thought I did something wrong, so is this for real or is this a scam... The dad's number....the 4219 number is supposed to be the police officer is that true andy 5511 number is supposed to be to the dad this just a big, cars I'm sorry I'm scared shitless

This is happening in various areas of the country.  See:  772-444-7877.  There was another similar case coming out of Port St. Lucie Florida a while back.  These people will impersonate a real policeman or detective in order to carry out their extortion scheme.

can you please let me know what you find out when I talked to the dad I never sent any nude pictures of any kind to his daughter or who was supposed to be his daughter but they didn't have me scheduled and told me if I didn't send money they would not work at payment plan with me some money through PayPal, I don't think this is funny at all considering I'm not that kind of person and the only two pictures I was one saying look at my socks... That's all she had on in the picture did not show a face... I was being a typical guy I wish I could see that cute thinking that she was 23 years old from a site called meet me... Then I told her she doesn't need to send those kind of pictures if she wants to get to know me... & I didn't hear anything back so I deleted the number and messages in the morning I gotta picture at 1:13 that show that girl laying on a bed face down I wish I was her back and her face and I deleted that one also thinking that she may be under 23 and didn't respond... 445 and they were going to me the same story everybody else the parents wanted to talk to me to MrToss it

All I know is I never sent any explicit or nude pictures.... I got one saying look at my socks.. It didn't show a face... I thought she was 23, and on her profile on meet me it said 23, said I'd like a picture of that but lol.  Then said you don't need to send me any nude pictures..I didn't hear back so I deleted the number and the tasks..text.?? At one thirteen a.m.I got one of a girl laying face down...naked showing face and butt ,I deleted it... the next day I got a call at 4:45 from the investigator who said dad wanted to talk to me mom wanted to press charges and me receiving the pictures is a felony.... He told me if I clicked on the about me.... It clearly days she is 15..... called the dad... Mr. Knight.... his wife name I'm told is Sherrie..... said she needed therapy if I would pay half they won't press charges cause she slit her wrists!!!!!! I made payment arrangement and sent a payment they pay pal.....$125.00.......I told him I'd do another in two weeks..... The dad just called me back to check in....... Is this real..... I am not a guy looking for a young girl that could be my daughter for god sake.... I'm no Prevert..... someone help please.... The dad just called me back to check in.......?

Total scam.  Contact your local police department and make a complaint of extortion.  Also you should print out this page and bring it with you.

For crissakes.  It's an extortion scam.  What part of the phrase "extortion scam" do you NOT understand!  DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY!.

This guy's got his hooks into you and because you're scared you are still paying them.  Jeezuz.  STOP PAYING THEM.

Hey man, there's a few of us on here that had the exact same situation happen. "Mr Knight" is a complete fake. His real name is James Reeves. Kayla is his daughter, that's actually 27 years old. After running the phone number search, I went ahead and filed for a background check as well. Mr Reeves here has a history of scamming people. Whether or not she was ACTUALLY involved, I don't know. But he's using her first name. I got the same sob story. Slit wrists, pay half and we'll forget it. "My wife is really upset about this and she's the one wanting to press charges, but I want to see if we can work it out". Not sure if you've read through all my other posts yet, but I'd suggest going back through and re-reading them. It might point out some things that are similar to your situation, and might make you feel better. Believe me, I know it's a scary situation. But there isn't a single part of it that's real. I'm currently waiting on an address for this Mr Reeves, if one is known. I've just uncovered some past ones. It looks like he moves a lot. I figured I'd look into it as much as I could, and then let the police department investigate it to hopefully stop this guy, but neither the local pd or the county sheriff department seem to be interested at all.

I know that Mr night sent me a message I've talked to a sheriff's deputy here and he said they can't do anything about it because I can prove I was a victim or that the message even existed but I know that I'll give you a call on Friday from the detective or a so-called detective hand the phone numbers do match up exactly it would be interesting to knowif anyone else got thesepictures especially the one look at my socks and then the other one laying on the bed I just want to see if its the same pictures going out to everybody

both of phone numbers you have up are an exact match for the people that are calling me so did you ever hear back from the police department to see if that number even belongs to a real detective I was told by my please department here I can't prove anything extortion was A because I willingly sent them the money and since they don't have a real name or address they can't do anything about it magistrate said there is not sufficient evidence to prove a crime

I've been in contact with both the lexington county sheriff's office "Where he said he worked" and the lexington city pd multiple times. The sheriff department says they know about the underage girl scams going around, and the local pd, well they just act annoyed when I call. If either of them are doing anything at all, I'd be surprised. Oh, and I have a recorded voice-mail from this "detective" as well. I don't see how there's not enough evidence of a crime. He lies right on the voice-mail, saying he's Detective Nicholas Carver/Carter "last name is a little hushed" with the Lexington County Sheriff's Office.
