- Patrick replies to timThis so called Dominique Goines scam about nude pics and paying for a broken glass happened to me too! I hope the police catch this sob! Beware of any girl that contacts you on a dating site and wants to chat on kik. She will send you nude photos and then asks you for nude photos! Then comes a message the next day from her “dad” that she is underage and when he found the pics she broke a window and wants money. This sob texted the pictures to my wife! I obviously shouldn’t have been on a dating site being married. But this sob is a real piece of crap! If anyone in law enforcement reads this please try to catch this scammer! They are committing extortion!

- yoyo1234 replies to CWG40| 1 replyHello
Bit late to replying here. This same thing happened to me, but in 2013. Through craigslist. I sent my picts to someone who said they were 24 years old. Then exchanged phone numbers. There was really no info online, or I couldn't find any at the time. I freaked out, as I thought my life would end. The only bit of info I had was even if the person on the other end lied, if they were underage, it was your fault. The 'father' screamed at me so intensely I thought I was having a nervous breakdown. Until after a solid 24 hours of googling, I found someone who'd gone through the same. What I do not understand, is that obviously the man or men who are doing / did this to all of us, appear to be the same. FIVE or more years of using the same tactic, why hasn't this person or persons been brought to justice? How is this possible that no one's been able to catch this person. I swear, the same tactics and language ('father' was southern or had a 'country' accent, told me he didn't want to bring his kid to therapy and that his ex-wife was freaking out, called me son, etc.) this appears to be the same person that's been doing this to everyone!!! We don't know how many people have been scammed or worse - self-harmed because of this horrible person/s. how can we bring them to justice? - anonsHi! Well, after doing so much research, the only arrest I've found was this guy's (http://gwdtoday.com/main.asp?SectionID=2&SubSectionID=27&ArticleID=30877) - never found any info on how the trial went or his sentencing. but this was in 2014 - and from SC - must be so many more involved. I've been doing research because I am a filmmaker and would either like to do a doc or film based on these scams and a few others..
- Vader replies to WilliamWas talking to a girl from Meetme, she sent a revealing video and asked if it was too much, I asked her age and she said 17 turning 18 this friday. I unfortunately sent my own, the next day rewcieved a call from what sounded like her dad claiming she had gotten in a fight at school with the teacher and found the messages, after talking he and his wife decided that if I helped them with a $1200 cancelation fee for theirs phones and bail and what not that it would be resolved, I asked for documentation and for the officers name, bagde number and county. They say she is 16. Is this a scam or is this for real? This number called me 9122084850
- Vader replies to yoyo1234This guy called me after on meetme, sounded just like you described and called me son as well, see my reply below and let me know if its the same.
- Vader replies to CWG40| 3 repliesWhat about this number 9122084850, says he wants an apology text first and then wants texts of everything said over the phone
- Kat replies to Vader| 2 repliesYou already posted in the correct thread, so what made you come to this thread for a completely different number?
Either way, this is still a scam, as detailed by CWG40. Follow his advice. - Vader replies to Kat| 1 replyThank you I was just freaked out sorry....
- Sparky replies to CWG40Add this one to your list if you will please.
213-810-6145. That was the detectives number, the "dad" is contacting me from my local area code, which has me pretty shaken, so I'm hoping it's truly a scam. - Kat replies to VaderUnderstandable but you didn't answer my question. Your call came from a completely different number so what led you to THIS thread?
- Kat replies to deleted postHow do you know what color men they were? I doubt the dad told you "Hi, I'm John, and I'm Black."
- Mike| 3 repliesYou know what's funny... Ask if you guys are really pedophiles who just happened to slip by... Each of you were aware the girl was claiming to be underage but you didn't count on getting caught... You wouldn't have thought once much more twice about paying if you didn't know you had done something wrong..... Why would you be paying it attempting to pay for medical billsb of an adult woman. You would have stated that, she an adult she's responsible for her own actions. But, instead you were scared as [***] because you know you had been texting what was to be a minor...lol now you have a bunch of pedophiles posting in a thread saying I'm glad I've found you guys 😂😂😂 pathetic
- Bob| 1 replyThe numbers listed below are as follows the first one was from a lieutenant Michael Rainey that said he was with some cyber division and that I had exchanged messages with the young lady that said she was older and then when I started talking to her through text she said she was younger and they started talking about child porn and this and that but he said we could work it all out because he's arranged that I can talk to the father. which as I saw in some of the other comments earlier sounded like an older black gentleman which is exactly what I've seen in some of these other feeds. There was a time that I was on some online dating sites but it hasn't been very recently and if I would have had a girl that I was talking to on a dating site text me and tell me she lied and that she was only 17 that would have meant drop and block at that very moment. The father said the picture of me was a dark-haired man in his twenties which I am neither ofand he just wanted to work it out and he said that God still love me and he would pray for me at the end of the conversation if I wanted to he and his wife both even though she wants me to go to jail. Supposedly the daughter got caught making a video a nude video on her mom's work computer and when her mom found her she smashed the computer locked herself in the bathroom took a bunch of pills and tried to kill herself. She was in a coma for two days in the hospital after having her stomach pumped and the wife had stage 3 breast cancer and the company she worked for was going to put her arrested if they cannot come up with the $2,800 for the computer or at least $1,700 and make payments for the rest of it and he didn't want his wife with cancer to die in prison. There were many inconsistencies especially with the supposed officer. in the first conversation I had with him he said he didn't understand how this IP address stuff works or any of that yet later he sounded like he knew what he was talking about and when you look up lieutenant Mike Rainey he is a real guy and has been awarded a secret service award for being South Carolina's top cybercop so I would think that he knows how all that stuff works by now. No they're not getting any money out of me. I'm a kind-hearted guy and they really did try and pull on my heartstrings and make me feel like even though I hadn't done anything wrong that maybe I owed them something because of what happened to their daughter in this sad situation with his wife. Also the second time I talk to the supposed police officer and told him that I had proof that during parts of the conversation that the father told me the times of I was at work. I work for a company that watches my every move while I'm working there's cameras on me other than the bathroom and my lunch I'm in my car there are cameras on me they know when I clock in and when I clock out I was clocked in during the times the conversation supposedly started but he said that doesn't matter because you had those times on your lunch when you went outside and you could get to your phone which I'm not allowed to have it all inside my building. but I accidentally bring it in I have to check it through security because I go through metal detectors to make sure I'm not stealing a phone. I will say that the scare tactic does kind of work but I had proof that there's no way I could have had the conversation with this young lady at all especially not one that led to that heads up guys these people are making a lot of money. read the reports about the inmates and their friends and family members that have recently been caught and charged with doing the same thing in a similar way to to our military soldiers and extorting them with a total of $560,000 according to the report. Stay off of these websites guys it's time to get out there and meet women the old-fashioned way face to face at least then you can't get catfished or anything like that something like this really sucks to get woken up with early in the morning believe me... Don't fall for it South Carolina is a hotbed for this kind of activity.

- Rick RossGot a call from 8035001051 Agent Michael Cox SC ICAC asked for someone I don’t even know. Said it was imperative he speak with this person. Kept calling me . I called the SC Attorney General office who said this person doesn’t exist. ICAC doesn’t call you they get information from NCMEC and forward the lead to the respective local state or federal agencies. If you get a call from someone claiming to be with ICAC it is a scam. I am prior law enforcement ask yourself this question if you receive one of these calls, would police call and tip off the target of an investigation? No they would just show up with a search warrant. This scam seems to be associated mostly with South Carolina area codes and I believe the goal is to get a male on the line . It seems to be coming from Non fixed voip numbers ie. bandwidth.com

- Rent a Goon replies to BobSame call different MO , guy said he was an “Agent” with the SC Internet Crimes Against Children. Since when do they have agents? Special Investigators maybe but these are not 1811’s. I didn’t let the conversation go beyond that . I am a former Federal Law enforcement officer and first and foremost when conducting investigations we don’t usually call targets . These people are scam artists, very good mind you he had the correct address and everything when I asked him where his office was located. I then had some fellow current LEO’s run this supposed agents name. And it came back as no such agent with SC ICAC. I then reached out to the SC AG office and made them aware. This seems to be a big thing in South Carolina. Google 803 area code ICAC and you’ll see.
