Demanding money to stop an investigation is bribery.  Pure and simple.  It is a crime and normally be reported as such.  Make sure you go to the real police and make  a complaint of extortion, because as against you, that is exactly what it is.    Print out the pages on this thread and take them with you.  Go in person.

I got the same call today with the same story...Officer Rainey called me and told me the whole story 864-982-5859 then gave me the dad Kyles number 803-605-7371 and he told me for 2500 it would all go away...So after looking at the page i started trolling both of them..In the end i texted Officer Rainey and told him i know what they are doing he replied (lol i had you scared like a little [***])...People dont fall for this [***].

I signed his phone number up for tons of telemarketers

I received a a message from a girl called Maddy and she immediately gave me her number 8434808035 sent me a nude and then I received on a sunday a text from her "father" thomas tisdale is the name he used 8438722855 that gave the same story how his daughter is a minor how his family wants me in jail. He then called back saying that 2500 bucks would make it all go away. Sent me an agreement form from joebannonesqlawllc@gmail.com..made me start thinking. I'm glad I found you guys. He tried to get me to send money through western union to a carley o'rourke and through moneygram to a kristine mason. I'm military as well and they seem to be targeting us.

Report this loser to your local and/or military police.  If you had done something wrong, the cops would be knocking on your door - this is an extortion attempt and should be dealt with accordingly!

I'm dealing with this now. He is using the Skout chat site. Using the girls name of Brittany Knight. It says she is 24 years old on skout. She will ask to exchange numbers and as soon as you do she sends nude pics. Then she will tell that she is 16. I forgot the detectives name and the phone numbers but Kyle Knight is what he is using now. I do remember that the police number was an 843 and the dads was an 305 Florida area code.

He just called me from 305 849 9442 is the number.

I have gotten the same messages. Only thing is the girls name us sarah and it was from meet me. After reading this and talking to a cop I feel a little more better. The guy who called me was Robert Wilson. I never got called by detective brown, but Robert used his daughters number and his. He destroyed a company laptop she was using and wanted me to pay 300 to make this go away. I'm in VA the numbers was Alabama. 334-212-1806 (his). 334-212-1983 (hers). I have talked to a cop and have not responded to him. He has messaged me today asking for a response or he was going to the law.

had this happen to me yesterday. I almost gave in and went to walmart this morning. but then after googling "underage daughter" scam it became very clear that this was not real. and multiple reports of people mentioned a daughter and having slit her wrists I decided to not respond to end of his calls .

I got a call from some number in South Carolina saying it was a Sheriff Dave mcroberts from the Richmond dept saying he had a file on his desk of me talking to an underage girl and for me to call the parents of the girl cause her mom wants to press charges and her dad is willing to work things out with me. And that the daughter was in the hospital for overdosing on pills and if I paid $2800 to cover the medical bills it would be forgiven. Well after speaking to the dad he gave me this email, jessicahopkins2029@yahoo.com to send PayPal payments. The dads name was Gerald Smith, the mothers name was Sherrie Smith and the daughters name was Ashley smith.

He's an extortionist.  You are the victim of an attempted extortion.  Go to the police and make a police report.  Block this guy's calls. DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY.  This is a common scam going around trying to trap guys who might be trying to contact underage girls.  Or pretend to be.

This is an extortion attempt. Do not pay them anything and report the matter to your local police department.

Just got thru the same scam with a friend terribly frightened about the same underage sex scam from phone number 8438306441 it is active now everyone should do wat ever they can to make this peice of [***] pay for his lowly life give to every telemarketer u can do not send him money!

This girl on Fb Tracey Knight send me a picture of her naked. The next day her father"Kylz" "no name detective called me and told me she was 15yrs old and she told me 20.She cut herself up because of me and send this bill. I told my sister she called the number. She knew it was a scam! The"detective had no name and tired to rush off the phone.
