Just received the exact same text message.  No prior validation code or other message from Spectrum.  Will not be calling this number.

Received text msg saying there was a problem with my service, please call to schedule appt. Google # and most said scam.

First got a text message saying  We’ve detected an issue affecting your services. Please call 833-778-2754 today to schedule a service appointment. Then got an email with same message.
I have couple numbers that have been used in communications with Spectrum in the past and this is NOT one of them..   SCAM message!!!!

Forward unwanted spam/scam texts to 7726 (SPAM) and let your phone service provider deal with them.
That number was set up by the phone companies to combat spam texts and they can shutdown offending phone numbers.
Never reply with "STOP", scammers will not honor the request (they have no honor to begin with) and it only verifies that they have texted to a valid number and a person who reads their texts.  It will not STOP the texts and may actually make them more frequent.
Never click on a link in such a text as it may cause malware to be inserted on your phone, and even if it does not, just as with replying "STOP" the scammers will know they reached a valid number.

Okay, so why are you here? There is no logical reason for you to look up a known phone number.

I got a text from this number and a call from the 833 number telling me to contact spectrum today and last week but there is nothing wrong with my service and I don’t believe it’s spectrum.

Just red flags for me…
