No issue.  Jeff C is a liar and is part of this scam.  Think about it.  If what Jeff C said were true then there would have been no reason to look the phone number up afterwards would there?  Plus look at all the posts here tell you that people called Spectrum up and were told by Spectrum that this is a scam?  Why would they lie?  They certainly don't have anything to gain by it.  But people coming here with "it is so legit" posts do.  They get you to call and then steal your information and money.

Same as the others. I got a text last week, checked my services and all were working fine - later that same day, I accidentally tapped that number in the text info when looking to block it. I talked to someone who said they "work on behalf of Spectrum and wanted to come out and evaluate how they could save me money." No thank you, Mr. Scammer. I'm ready to cut the cord with Spectrum anyway. Today, I just received another text - I'll use it as my reminder to cancel by the 17th when my billing cycle is up.

Said they detected problem with service, however they can only work on it on a Sunday or a Monday. and will have to be in your house at least 2 hours.  This is a free update. With all the techs that work for Spectrum, why is it they can only do this update on Sunday and Mondays? And every other update the past 20 years has been done over the phone.

Got a text saying to call this number because Spectrum had detected an issue with my services.  It came just after we had had a glitch, but I believe this is a coincidence.  I didn't trust the text.
