It is not a collection agency, it is a phishing scam! There is no debt, no collection agency, they are offshore, probably Africa, commiting fraud. I repeat they are not a collection agency and not in Florida! They hope to scare the crap out of people to pay money they do not owe. This is a job for the FBI ...not the Better Business Bureau or the attorney general of your state. They probably get access to credit reports that is why they know so much about you.

ex-girlfeiend recieved voicemail from a woman speaking way to fast to be understood. only thing she heard was that a civil suit was being filed against me and my attorney or I had 24-48 hours to reply. when i called back a Mr. Smith spoke to me. he stated that i needed the affidavit number for him to access my records. my name would not be sufficent enough. i then asked why they would contact her seeing as we havent seen eachother in several years. he stated "you probably used her as a reference sometime in the past." immediatly something did not feel right since he didn't announce what firm he was with or what was going on. i hung up the phone and immediately googled the number and found this site. sorry this has happened to so many people. hard to believe that with all the money our government spends they can't get rid of this crap.

Same thing happen to me today..they called for my husband I was like what the hell, the call shows up as an unknown caller. I called the number back but was not able to speak with anyone... how do I block these cause this is scary information....

I received a call showing up unavailable and a vmm was left for me. I called the # back and used the refernce # listed. VMM stated you have been named in a law suit and that a supena had been issued against me stated i needed to contact an attorney and to call back and left a case #. I called back and used the case #. i was forwarded to a Steve Peterson. He stated this was in a regards to a loan taken out by cash advance which I had not taken. ALERT THIS IS FRAUD! I hung up on him and before i hung up stated I had googled the # and know this is fraud!

Received numerous calls from a unknown area outside of my area. I knew answered any of the unknown calls. The caller finally left a message on my voicemail. The caller identified himself as Investigator Steve Peterson and claimed that I was named in a complaint filed against me along with a restraining order that I needed to appear in court. He left the alledged affidavit number and insisted that I need to contact the number (850) 629-8216. I was instructed to forward the number and information to my attorney within 24-48 hours.

yes , I husband just got a call from 850 629 8216 that they were going to sue him for 12,000.00 credit card (master card) he open back in 2007 the gave him a ssn # number that was not his, lucky he did not give his number , the person that call him said if he want to settle for 500.00 dollar right now this would clear his account, he said no just send me the paper from the sue ,  he also call the police department and they said this was a scam

I received a phone call at 4:40pm CST on the 19th of October from 850-629-8216 a Victoria said she was a detective and I needed to have my attorney contact them within 24 to 48 hours , that a complaint had been filed against me and restraining order and given a BSN #, I was expected to be in court I'll be filing a police report and as for Detective Victoria I'm sure the Government wouldn't mind pressing charges against her for impersonating a law officer.
My attorney is going to have fun suing this company, I've never used a Fast Cash company in my life and my bills are paid.

If you get these frauds on the phone ask to mail in a payment.  GET THEIR ADDRESS.  Once obtained, please send it to me at: collectorabuse@gmail.com.  I would like to track down the people behind this fraudulent company. It's a hobby of mine :)!  Thanks, Good Samaritan

If they are in Africa, there is nothing we can do unless the FBI or State Department gets involved....please see my previous posts. A lawyer or even your State attorney general does not have the resources to do anything.

Caller identified self as "Special Investigator" Jane Farouk? that there was a complaint filed against me and that a restarining order would be filed against me with a File number, etc. So, we called this number back and got a recording identifying this company as Cintinental Legal Support. I Googled the company and the call back number just happens to be the same! They are in Florida??

Got a call from Rene Johnson on 10/25/11 directed to my father who is 75 years old. She left a detailed vm regarding a court action and restraining order. She left a claim & affadavit # BOB-1146. Sounded scripted, but somewhat official. She spoke very fast. Called the ph # back and it was Contiental Legal Support, which led me to this website. B@#$%ds! Scared me for a minute. Then, realized it had to be B.S.  Thanks.

This has just happened to me. Found out they are calling my 84 year old mother about my daughter who's a missionary in South Korea??? Hello, I'm going to do something about this, I hope you all will stand behind me. They said she had a restraining order out on her? Really?. She had to have an FBI clearance for her work visa in south Korea, Strange nothing came up there!!  I am soooooo sick of people scamming people. Times are hard for all of us, but please!!!!1 get a life. Also they used to use a different number, 804-316-9075....They are messing with the WRONG person this time.... We need to stick together before they really scam some poor soul badly!

They theatened collections and a lawsuit, and even threatened jail time.

I checked my phone at work today and noticed I had a missed call from a blocked #. If that's not a red flag, I don't know what is. I waited until after work to listen to the message, ready to laugh, but was very shaken instead.

Voicemail: "(my name), this is Special Investigator J. (or Jay?) Bird, contacting you in regards to a complaint being filed against you, pursuing a claim affidavit number ABC-1234. You've been named a respondent in the court action and must appear. There is a contact number on file which you need to call, that number is (wait for it) 850-629-8216. Please forward this information to your attorney, the the order (mumbled) is show(?) close(?) contains a restraining order. You or your attorney will have 24-48 hours to oppose this matter."
He then repeated the affidavit number, his title/name and wished me a good day.

FREAKED - I called the # and sat on hold listening to a short, repeating snippet of classical music until someone picked up just to say "litigations, please hold" about 3 times. The woman I spoke with told me that 2 subpoenas had been attempted at an address and that they were now forced to bring one to work (an address they did not mention, nor did I implore if they had it). I was told that I was being sued by a credit card/bank name I had never heard of. I was freaking out and told the woman I had no idea what she was talking about which prompted her to ask if XXXX were the last 4 digits of my SS#. Of course they weren't, which I told her, and she quickly tied up the phone call (though I repeatedly tried to pry information about why I was being called, will I be called again, is someone going to serve me at work, etc.) and told me that I was being placed on the do not call list.

Then I came home, entered the phone number and got this page. I am so pissed.

Next time they call, ask them how the weather is in Nigeria. One day the FBI or State Department will find their IP address and the marines can bring them back to face charges in the USA. Just like Osama they can run and hide behind IP/Internet phones but some day, they will be found. Let them know that you know it is a Nigerian Scam and that they will face the music one day. Let them know you have an affidavit or arrest warrant for them!

I just got a call saying that I own on an Orchard Creditcard.  Never have had one.  Told me the same thing about a subpoena is coming.  The girl hung up on me once I said that I work with legal processes.
Still Why should I have to put up with calls like this.
