I didn't lose my job and I pay my bill on time, but I still get this call, some people do check to see who these people are that are calling them and keep track to file a complaint.

I just got a call from this number and shouldnt have picked up.  The lady pretends to be asking for somebody "Anita" and I say you have the wrong number.  The she asks how long I have had this number.  I told her a very long time and then she then says in sort of a memorized statement fashion that she will be removing my number from her list.. She never once identified who she is or what company she is calling from.  I think its a scam of some sort.  I didnt ask either because I just wanted to get off quickly.

I have been receiving this call for several months from various numbers.  IT IS A SCAM.  I keep calling Capital One and they assure me that there is no one trying to call.  DO NOT give them any info.

Mail a stop calling letter to capital one. If they keep calling file a complaint with the
Feral Trade Commission

The thing that is creepy is that several people here report being asked about distant relatives who have never used their phone or phone number. I had the same experience. So how do these scammers know about the family connections? There is more to this than just some random scam attempts to steal info. I suspect it is a very large operation with quite a data base already.

unknown number keeps callin - no message

This is capital one. They are looking for the person who I purchased this house from more than 3 years ago. I have told them several times that he has never had this phone number. They still continue to call several times most of which they never say anything but when they do they ask for the previous owner of the house.

They allready called me 3 times today, Capitel One, and its only 3 p.m.

They are calling me every day too, looking for my sister in law...won't go away even when I tell them she doesnt live her...keep asking for her phone number...WTF?

I have signed up for opt-out to not receive solitating calls.

I have received several calls from this number on my cell phone.  My cell phone is for my PERSONEL use.
I have signed on to a no call listing.  How do you stop these calls?

This capital one number continues to call.  I do not want their product not their interruption.

Capital One must employ the lowest of low with zero IQ.  For 12 days now, they have called every day for a Thomas Sinclair. I have spoke to reps such as Shelly, Marcia (supervisor), and Morris, and despite being reassured that my phone number will be removed from their list i am STILL getting calls.  These clowns have no idea how to removed a wrong number.  Did I mention my original cease and desist for these telemarketing or collection calls was sent out last October?  Or better yet, my number is on the do not call list? I tried to be amicable about this but now am looking for a lawyer.  Capital One, please continue with your stupidity since I would LOVE to have you pay me for each time you call me!

Called me at 2:27PM, 6:24PM, and 7:28PM on Thursday, November 11 but never left a message!

Called at 8:59AM on November 16 and just kept "HELLO", "HELLO" on the voicemail !

Capital One...keeps calling asking for an ex-employee of ours.  I explained (again) that this person left our company almost 2 years ago.  He asked how long we've had this number and I said "This is a business...we've had this number for 34 years"..then he said he would have our number removed, but we'd be getting another call to confirm.  I asked how many more calls I'm going to get because I've told them several times that this person no longer works for us.  He said "Thank you goodbye".  Doesn't understand the language...just reading from a script.

Called at 12:31PM on November 16 and left no message !
