Got a call from 909 2873508 in chino ca left a vm asking for my dad to call him bk at this number.

Someone iI know recieved a voicemail saying the message was for me and to call GP Services. This was not my phone number & the person who recieved the call has no ties with me other than social. When i looked online to see who  GP Services was, the infiemation said the company was out of Georgis but gave information for  being located in Los Angeles. When i returned the call the office was closed

If you use social media (which I am sure you do), all the information you give to anyone (including friends & confidants) should be considered "public knowledge". There really are no secrets on social media, no matter what the vendors/sponsors/owners tell you.

Quit calling me asking for Victoria,  WRONG NUMBER!  They won't stop and it's harassing me!

Annoying [***] keep calling.

McKesson is a place of business and debt collectors should not be calling to harass employees.

GC Services is extremely easy to find on the internet.  Did you actually believe that posting that here would make them stop calling you?  If you truly are a business then you should know that you need to send them a letter in the mail telling them to stop calling your business.

Please note:  Regarding the collection of student loans, the collection agency wants to convince you that you need to pay $200 or more per month.  The reason is simple-they make a ton more money that way.  If they get you to pay that they make 16% of the TOTAL loan amount.  If you pay less they only get 16% of what you pay every month.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Millions of student loans are being discharged because these debt collectors can not produce documents proving that the student loans were signed for, valid, etc. Make them send you ALL ORIGINAL documents. If they cannot provide them, they have no case.

Just called from a clearly spoofed CA number asking for my relative. I don't even know the name of the person calling the sound was so awful.
Asked me to call back on this 800 number so clearly it's a scam.
If/when they call again I'll try to have as much fun with it as I can.

They are looking for someone NOT at my phone number and someone I don't know.  Call constantly and can't get them to remove my number.  It's blocked on my phone but they leave messages.

I hate GC Services. They are sad and obnoxious. I refuse to work with them and you should too. Cut the middle man out by going to myedudebt.ed.gov  Create a username and give them your info. They'll pull what you actually owe for student loans without the 24.5% interest rate GC services is charging. You can pay through there (well it'll direct you to the federal treasury link to pay at least) or set up auto payments or you can see where to mail payments. It gives you the number for default resolution through the department of education. And even better yet- THERE IS AN OPTION TO COMPLAIN ABOUT GC SERVICES!!! Just go to file a complaint and since they are listed as my current account assignment it shows them at the bottom so I know they're getting a complaint abut the right people!
