I am very tired of these continue fax interruptions.  I shall report this matter to the FCC.  If you have a collection problem with me just write a letter spelling out details.  Please DISCONTINUE CALLS.

I have been getting a plethora of calls from this number for about a month now and have had this cell phone for almost a year.  I have talked to at least 3 different "representatives," so today when they asked for my account number I simply replied "It's 22-F**K you!" LOL

Hell, yeah.  This has nothing to do with outstanding debts.  This has to do with identify theft, nimrod!

It has to be something else that triggers these calls.  I've had my phone number for 4 years and they are just starting to call me all day and all night.  I have them Blacklisted on my jailbroken iPhone.  Phone doesn't ring anymore when they call, but I know they called.

Call from 888-748-4956 asking for "Anna." For past month have been getting calls from Chase asking for same person. Finally got to Chase headquarters and stopped the calls, as this is a new cell phone number and I assume some deadbeat had the same number before us. Today, the person who called said her name was "Eva" and her Employee UD was YGW321. She was very pleasant and said she was taking our number off the list immediately. Lets see if this is true!

I've been getting constant calls from 888-748-4956 for the past 5 days or so. They call about 4-5 times a day. It's really irritating so I decided to answer and there is no one on the line. No one. I decided to call them back and asked what they were calling for and what did they do and that I wanted them to stop calling. The "representative" said that they are "outsourced by Capital One" The guy on the line asked me for my credit card information and I denied him and I kept asking what their company did. Nothing.

Right after I called Capital One, because I do have a credit card from them but I am not in debt. They told me everything was fine with my credit and not give them any of my information, that I should call them and tell them to stop calling. I did as instructed and they told me they would removed my number from their list. Two hours later sure enough I get a call from them.

I'm going to go to report them to the police and the state attorney general. they are harassing innocent people who are no in debt. those [***] piss me off. they call early in the morning. I hope to get this resolved a.s.a.p.

This number has showned up on my caller ID 5 times this morning and the ID says "Telemarketing".  I hit the answer button and lay the phone down until it starts beeping, then I hang it up. I never say a word; maybe they will get tired of calling my number.

This is a call from Allied Interstate Collections on behalf of Capital One.  I have never had a Capital One Credit Card.  They asked for several people that I don't know. I continue to tell them that the names are unfamiliar to me and that they've called the wrong number.  I just asked someone with a strong accent to remove my name from their lists.  She said that it would be done within 3 days.  I also reported them to the Do Not Call Registry.

I view this as plain harassment and will do whatever I must to see it stopped.

When I read about these snakes, I decided to fight back.  They called my phone number at least 3 times today and a couple of times last night looking for someone I don't even know.  I have never had a Capital One Card nor will I ever have one. So today, I started calling their line back.  I made it quite clear that I wanted my name off their lists.  The reps kept telling me that it takes 36 hours.  I told them that each time they call in those 36 hours that I will call their line and request a supervisor even if it takes 3 calls before I reach a supervisor and that I will report each call as a complaint to the Do Not Call Registry and that I would file complaints with every consumer agency possible.  I said that I would record each call and would write to both Capital One and Interstate Collections to make sure it's documented.  I stated this was an invasion of my privacy and harassment.  The supervisor then told me that she had removed me from their system immediately and that I would receive no more calls from them.  We'll see.  I'm ready to go to battle with these scumbags.

I too would get about 10 or 12 calls a day. They were driving me crazy.
Some one told me to answer and then hit the # key 6 or 7 time.  So far that has worked.  Time will see.

Every time I see this number show up on my caller ID I don't answer and no one leaves a message.  ID says "Not provided."  If it's a collection agency, neither of us has any debt so it can't be for that.

With over 16 pages of complaints, an attorney needs to take on a class action here.
The # on my ID is 888-748-4956, they called my business line for someone that WAS NOT ME.

It seems this collection company gets 3rd party phone numbers if the name is close to a debtor they are looking for. I received a call on 11/25 and asked for a manager. While I am typing this, I have been on hold for over 10 minutes waiting for a manager. This certainly is harassment and I believe violates the FDCPA or Fair Debt Collection and Practices Act.

As I wait on hold for a manager, 8 mins and 40 sec into the call I am disconnected with no one picky up the line.

This company needs to be accountable for these actions.

Has called every day for some time. Finally called back after getting a collection call yesterday wanting me to get a message to my neighbor! Now they want us to do their work for them! This time it was someone with the same name as my husband. They just search names and call ALL with the same name and hope to get lucky in finding the one that owes them money.

I got lots of phone calls about 15 or 20 times for few weeks.
My caller ID shows the number as 888-748-4956.I am tired of that.
The rings made the light turn on to notice me because I am deaf.  I called the relay to call there the company which is called Capital One third times and today I told someone on phone that I gave him/her my phone number to be removed at once now.  But they never did removing my phone number.  I have a device for deaf, it is TDD but no one answered on my TDD that mean the voice on phone. I can not hear any at all and can not speak at all. OMIT MY NUMBER-812-637-9077 AT ONCE RIGHT NOW.
