Tell them you need an address from the collection agaecy and ask them where they are calling from..After that tell them you are coming tomorrow with an ak-47 to kill them and everyone that works there.  Trust me they won't call anymore.  Plus its legal because a future threat is not a crime!!

Got calls from KCI @913-307-9052.  Very  disrespectful "What makes you think you can get services and not pay for them"  Turns out the hospital did not send a bill to my secondary insurance.  That was the reason for the very small bill they threatened me with bad credit - I said "We don't buy anything on credit anyway so go ahead".  I am a 70 year old woman who has ALWAYS paid my bills in a timely manner.  I am going to contact that hospital and tell them they should look for another collection agency.

I asked to speak with the supervisor also and they refused.  I didn't think about calling the BBB but I will.

They keep calling.  Since I have caller ID I can and do avoid even answering.  I am willing to wait them out.  I figure that if I never talk to them, then they can't even begin to get a hook into me.

I like your response.  Why shouldn't those crooks have some fear put into them?  It's the least they deserve.

Although I get occasional calls from KCI, the number showing up on my caller ID is  316-942-0451.  I am pretty sure this call originates in Wichita.

i received a call on my cell phone today from 913-541-9925. It was crazy and they lied to me and said it didn't come from them. I said yes it did I wrote down your message. They still denied it. My husband has a medical bill that we let go to collection and pay on payments as a protest for being charged for treatments he did not recieve and yet when we protested the bill with the hospital they said too bad we say he did receive them. So our way of portesting was to make the payments to KCI for 25.00 a month for the last 4 years. Never a cross word will call once a year to renew the monthly payment. I thought this call was about that. When I spoke with the first person she was rude and said you have to pay 3 times the amount or the balance in full in 5 payments or we are going to tell the client that you have dropped the agreement and we will just get a garnishment on you. I was like hold on there where is this coming from? Let me speak to a supervisor please. Then another jerk gets on there and said he didn't like me and I had until 2:00 oclock today to get back with him and agree to his terms or the deal is off and we will be sued. He said that we are deadbeats and have taken way to long to pay this bill and I said no one has ever acted like this before and he said that's why they are all gone and they had to get new people because they let people like us not pay their debt. I was like we have made every payment that was due. Shame on them. I worked as a collector so I know. I can't see beating up on those that make the effort.

SEVERAL annoying calls from 913-541-9925 to my cell phone - I never answer and they never leave a message.  Another number calls me constantly: 888-296-6101 and they only let it ring a couple times then hang up.  The first time they called was over a year ago and I answered and the guy spoke Spanish, which I don't understand so I hung up.  He called back immediately and I didn't answer.  Now I get calls sometimes 3-5 times a DAY, and I never answer.  Is there any way to stop them??

I have been receiving repeated calls from this company. They have always left a very vague automated message (in most cases only the end as my voicemail doesn't record the whole thing). For the last week, they have been calling several times a day. This morning, I have already gotten 3 calls but no messages. I can only assume that it is a real person calling and hanging up on my voicemail.

I received a from this number and the message was to give a call back and there was some personal matter to discuss and needs the attention. After reading the posting on this websites for this number I have not called them.

Received the following recording when I answered the phone: Hi, this is Bill.  I would really like to talk to you.  Please call me at 541-9925.  The area code is 913.

This call was on my cell phone. They told me that I have a bill and called me by my first name. I asked who they were and they just stated KCI. They also called my by my son's last name(We have different last names) and said I owed a bill under this name. I told them I didnt and hung up. You see my son was adopted by my husband and becasue of that, he chose to "Make up" his own last name and there is no other like it in the whole world. It is unique. SO I know that I had no bill in that name. Is this a Scam?>??

I was also called numerous times by this company. It's urgent, Important, Necessary, and all that garbage. Must call right away. After reading this website info I also don't answer to this. I WILL be informing the Better Business Bureau.

This time, it was a letter I got and the return address is in Wichita.  It's about an actual real medical bill I am having to make small monthly payments on.  According to the letter I owe almost $600 and they (KCI) are wanting full payment in 30 days.  Not only do I not have that kind of money, I am letting them know that, and that I have enough medical debt that I could file bankruptcy, and would they prefer that?  I made it clear that I know my rights.  The letter is saying that KCI is demanding full payment, though, not the medical facility.  Anyone have any ideas on that?

On Jan. 3, 2008 I recieved a call from number 913 742 8223 but because I didnt recognize the number I forward call to my voicemail. The message left on my voicemail was from a woman name JoAnne asking me to return her call at 913 541 9925 she stated in the voice mail that she is with the Kansas Councelors Inc. I called the number that appeared in my caller I.D. back immediately, a woman answered but was very rude and asking for personal info like my name and phone number, I didnt feel safe revealing this info because I felt like if this was a real business they would've pick that info up in their caller I.D. and plus she wasnt acting professional to begin with so why would I feel safe giving out peraonal info. I called back 10 minutes later but this time I called the number left on my voice mail, a man named Andrew answered. Andrew said JoAnne wasnt available and he was asking for personal info as well. I told him my name only to asked him to have JoAnne call me back with more info, conversation ended. Due to fraud and so much identity theft I am very hestant to reply to suspicious calls or even emails, this is dangerous.

If ks counselors is calling you repeatedly you have some bill or bills that have been sent to them for collection. the best thing to do is call them and ask them to merge all accounts and send you a written copy. next step send them a written letter requesting that they only contact you by mail. this must be honored according to the ftc. hope this helps.

A threat is a crime

Moments ago I returned home from breakfast with my co-worker. As I walked into the house the telephone was ringing, but stopped before I could answer. The phone number is 541-9925 and they left a voicemail. The voicemail was fine, nothing overly rude or strange, but it's what showed up on my caller I.D. that has me irritated.

It says "Bus Office EXT". They called at 9:36 a.m. Never seeing that number before, I immediately thought it was my child's school. I called the number and yes, it IS KCI.

You know what, regardless whether anyone has a debt to these criminals or they have you mistaken with someone else, it does not matter. They're not allowed to mislead in a telephone call, on the caller ID, or abuse and harass you.

People, feel no shame for a debt. No explanation needed. [***] happens.
