- I H-* corNcast too replies to ANNOYED| 2 repliesYou were on hold for 50 min because they can. There is no real alternative because the idiots in congress set up a regional / multi-regional monopoly for corNcast as payback for huge campaign donations.
It is as bad as MA BELL back in the 1960's. - kimwI received a call from this number with a recorded message saying it was a survey from Comcast. However, I do not have Comcast. I think they are phishing.
- Caller: Comcast?
- len rthis 267-xxxxxx is Comcast survey line. i had cable tv interuption. comcast fixed the issue remotely and asked if would participate in survey.. this is a legitimate Comcast survey line number

- Barbara replies to deliberating...It is the phone number FROM COMCAST
- BARBARA replies to deliberating...It is the phone number FROM Comcast to do a survey after your experience on the phone with whoever helped you. I think it's automated because I refused the call and there was no voicemail.
- CarolWCalled Comcast about an issue and agreed to do a survey afterwards. The rep had to call me back to see if it was fixed and got a call during that. It said Philadelphia, PA so wasn't concerned because I don't know anyone in Philly. Got a second call but again it said it was Philadephia and didn't pick up. Oh well. I would have picked up if it had said Comcast. The only complaint I had was that I had to call Comcast twice as the first call was dropped almost right away when I was put on hold for the rep. Next time I had no wait time for the rep.
- Caller: Comcast (from above comments)
- Call type: Survey
- Pamela| 1 replyI think Kim W above was right. This isn't Comcast. They are phishing. Phishing is usually done by email, but it can also be done by phone.
- JeanUnknown number and I did not answer. If it's a Comcast number, it's a mistake. I cancelled them a long time ago.
- JulieI have never had an account with Comcast, so I have no idea why they would be calling me. Did not answer.
- Julie| 1 replyI have never had an account with Comcast, so I have no idea why they would be calling me. Did not answer. My guess it is a scammer who has access to a Comcast call list?
- Jason Wayne cook| 2 repliesWho is this. I think it might be a wifi ph. # , or my aunts down south, can you help you trace it for me?!
- Jay replies to Jason Wayne cookNo one here can help you trace a number. This is just a forum for people to post their experience with a particular number. Read the previous posts and come back and read future posts. Perhaps someone will be able to identify the callers.
- Pat replies to JulieThere's something called "spoofing" where spam calls piggyback on legitimate numbers. If you weren't expecting a survey call from Comcast, that's probably what it was. My neighbor's phone number was getting spoofed.
- annoyfine if its from comcast, but they should have to idenify themselves. they are communication company.

- trishai had just set up an account with Comcast and few minutes later starting getting the phone calls. They don't leave any message.
- Paul McGTypical Comcast insanity. If lucky, you will be able to get through their electronic swamp and complete a survey on the over-the-phone service. However, it is obvious that no one in Comcast pays any attention whatsoever to customer comments/feedback. The word "customer" is totally absent from the Comcast vocabulary or corporate ethic; we are the enemy-just pay the overinflated bill for pitiful service and don't complain. They are the biggest bunch of liars, cheats and backstabbers in the world. No wonder Comcast is continually rated the most hated company in the world on the Yahoo news feeds. And, God help us if Comcast and Time-Warner merge- it will result in a megalith of total arrogance and contempt for customers, more price increases for steadily degrading service, and (of course) more payoffs to local and national politicians. We have a so-called Cable TV office in my city, but complaints to them are always rebuffed - they will tell you that they are absolutely terrified of Comcast, as they are afraid that the free CATV and Internet service they get in all city departments plus the schools will end up being charged to the city. We already pay a fee in our monthly Comcast bill for the free city service. In a city with a $billion budget, to have a line item of several million to pay for Comcast services is likely less than what they spend on paper clips. Does every city office need to have a TV? Probably not!
