- Sam| 1 replyComcast ...they do not want me to answer survey (taught not to use ugly words or act ugly to others) spent 1 hr & 10 minutes with them on phone trying to report problem with cable, phone & internet services....wanted to set up appt. to come to home...told them I did not want to come in home as I had spent the last hr. with them checking every connection. I want them to check the service & strength of service on they end. Sent service rep. to come into home even after I told them I did not want them to do that several times. Dropped AT&T because of lousy service....really don't know why I wasted my time. Comcast is just as bad. How can they be allowed to operate as a monopoly by our city? Would at least like to have the opportunity to try Charter Service but am not allowed to because my city has the franchise for Comcast & doesn't allow other providers to come in. (Maybe because our local officals receive their cable free?????)

- Scott replies to ANNOYEDcomcast has gotten so big they seem to longer care about " one person " per say.
How many times did the guy from the Philippines apologize to you ? And didn't sound like he was reading from a script of some sort ? - Jae replies to HeatherMost likely someone else entered your phone number as theirs by mistake, when they asked for the customer survey following their dealings with Comcast. I wouldn't concern myself with it. Comcast's auto system will stop calling after a few tires.
- hahahaI love that they charge you to change plans over phone now... survey that. I said that's ok, I have 1 big change to make cancel that BS I have HD rabbit Ears and 4G I can just d/l shows I want.
- PaulL| 1 replyJust typical. Called the Comcast 800 number to get a billing issue resolved, agreed to a survey, and the animals don't even have the human being decency and professionalism to use a number which shows up as Comcast on caller id. As a consequence, the call is grouped into the usual scams, frauds, robo-calls, carpet cleaning, you have won a cruise, etc., etc. Typical Comcast arrogance.
Want to get Congress to do something useful? Ask them to pass a law requiring all businesses to use their actual, real name on caller id, and ban all political, survey, telemarketing, tie-lines, use of phony numbers, solicitation, etc. Violators get fined and sent to prison. That should cut down on telephone terrorism!- Caller: Comcast???

- sherrieComcast sent me a new piece of equipment for my cable service. When I installed it, it did not work so I was on the phone for the third time in 2 days trying to troubleshoot the problem. The calls from this number came thru twice -- right juin the middle of the troubleshooting session -- just when the rep was trying to send a new signal after I had rebooted the device. I was afraid I'd be disconnected (after waiting on Hold for quite a while) and have to start all over again. I have been very dissatisfied with Comcast and their ever increasing prices. Dont they know there are now alternatives to cable -- internet tv, much better digital antennas, etc. By the way, I said "No" to the survey but they called anyway. The survey probably consists of multiple choice or Yes/No answers, so there would be no opportunity to tell Comcast what you really think. I think its finally time to cut the cord.

- Gompers replies to PamelaThis isn't phishing. It is indeed Comcast.
It's always possible that someone is spoofing the number, however. - Gompers replies to Jason Wayne cookWhat is a "wifi phone #?"
- DI didn't answer the 2 times they called, both times I was on the phone with a Comcast rep trying to get my modem connected, then came here to see that it is Comcast calling for a survey on the service iI was still trying to receive! And I still don't have Internet...
- JoeThis is the Comcast automated survey. I called them and talked to an operator to transfer my service and agreed to do the survey afterwards.

- ComcastSuxRopeTotally useless customer service - first I got a rep. in the Philippines with sketchy static on his line (my phone had been fine all along to other no's.), who used several minutes, including several meaningless apologies, to lead up to telling me he had no relevant knowledge and then took my no. with a promise to call back if the transfer didn't work. Then I was shuffled off to internet security, where a North-American-male smartass quickly gave me the "I can't hear you well, your voice is low, yata yata yata" riff, took my phone no. and promised falsely to call me back in a few minutes, gave me a toll-free to call them, and disconnected. Then I got the "Follow-up" call from this PA.no., which of course I ignored as an unknown no. When I called back to their internet email/security toll-free no., another Mr. Disdain gave me the feedback flip, so I ended up hearing only my own voice echoing back to me, while I gave him my no. to call me back. Another "customer hung up" for him to log. Another call by me, again another rep., this time a Latino who wouldn't say [***] if his mouth were full of it, took my callback no., reassured me and then disconnected. Are we back in the USSR boys, or is this the online version of Catch 22?
The specific root problem I'm having is unique to Comcast email, and I've done my own diligent reset, restore, search internet options and adjust, etc., without being able to fix it. If I had any way to transfer what I need to recover from my email folder to another ISP, I'd drop Comcast like the rotten cow patty they are, just to unload the frustration of the disservice they've given me, ramped up as time goes on. Up theirs with a wire brush, so they can sit on it and rotate. I'll beat them one way or another - the patient dog gets the choicest bone. Any bets on when somebody goes postal on these jerks?- Caller: Comcast
- Gompers replies to jackThat's what you get for using an Apple product.
- johnCalled it back got a recording and was then disconnected. The call came minutes after talking to two reps on different different lines at the same time. Both were polite but could or would do nothing about their broken promises and truly BAD service. The rest of what I have to say is***********
- Caller: Comcast
- matthewI answered and they hung up both times after 5 seconds. I rejected the call now. Not worth my time.
